Lovely stay! The room & the view were lovely! Contact with staff was great also, along with the breakfasts. We had one glitch in that our room wasn’t serviced one night, but the management was very sorry that happened. We had a lovely stay overall! It was a little pricey, though.

Dissapointing dinner This review is for the restaurant. Four of us had dinner reservations for 6pm. Waitress took our drink order. After 25 minutes we still did not have our drinks. The first course salad was presented then the drinks arrived. The salad was good. Dirty martini was small, not that dirty, small regular olives not martini olives but was ok. Wine was good. Appetiziers were not appealing. We ordered the pork belly and Seared Hearts of Palm "scallops". I had asked if there was something else we could order as none of us like mussels, couple of us can't have gargonzola cheese, I don't like pork belly and the waitress said NO. That is what you have to choose from. We did not care for either the vegan scallops or fatty pork. Two of us had steak, was cooked the way we asked, the "Truffled mashed potato was good but was a very tiny portion about 2 tablespoons. Two had the duck, was not tender or juicy but edible. The chocolate pate was good. The strawberry shortcake was a joke. It consisted of 2 little shortbread cookies with whiped cream in the middle and the strawberries were little tiny pieces of what looked and tasted like jello not real strawberries like you would think you would get in a strawberry shortcake. Waitress was very pleasant. Views were delightful. Never did meet the chef nor did the owner ever come to the table. Bottom line appetiziers were not appetizing at all. How about a shrimp cocktail or a couple of Real Scallops? We really wanted to like this restaurant but it did not happen. Not worth $175. pp with drinks, tax and tip.

Great place! We loved this place. They have an amazing prefix tasting menu at their onsite restaurant. Made to order breakfast was yummy! We had a beautiful room with a lovely view and a birch tree inside. We hope to return soon. You will love staying here! Everyone is wonderful and friendly! Close to town.
