Incredibly Charming Place to Stay We booked this cute B&B inn for just one night, but would have loved to stay longer. It was so cozy and charming, we definitely want to stay again in the future when we come back to the Catskills! Also, Mr. Hobbs the kitty was a very welcomed extra guest!

No breakfast and no hosts to greet you I know I will be put down by owners as they have done so with other unfavorable reviews. I have never written a bad review in my life, but this experience left my daughter and I in shock. there was no one to greet us, odd, but OK. Then we found out no breakfast was served during the winter months. that is not what this website said. not even a muffin or Danish with juice. Only a Keurig. My daughter and I were alone in this house. Key pads to get in house and room. the instructions were tacked on a cork board on the porch, which was excisable to anyone. I have to say the house was lovely and bed comfortable. Housekeeper was nice as were the two neighboring gentlemen we met. Holly and Bert never came by to see if everything was fine and to welcome us. . Just very odd. We were here for two nights to attend a funeral. there is a no refund …… now I understand why. just check all reviews on all websites.

Victorian Charm Nice place to stay in the Catskills. It's close to Hudson, Tannersville, and Catskill state park. The room we had was large, the bed soft. The stairs are steep, so don't bring a lot. The breakfast was average. Not many choices. It's close to a few good restaurants like Vince Anna's. I wouldn't stay for more than a night or 2.

So relaxing! I can't wait to go back! What a wonderful B&B! I stayed at the VanWinkle Inn and had a wonderful time! Holly and Burt treated me like family and made me feel at home. After a long day out, (the antiquing in the area is wonderful!) I helped myself to tea from the Keurig they keep well stocked in the dining room and sat on the front porch. One of the Inn's cats, Mr. Hobbes sat in my lap, while I listened to the birds and the quietness of a country night while sipping my tea. It was wonderful. The Inn is delightfully old and full of antiques, but not in a stuffy, dusty way. My room was clean, the bed comfortable and there was plenty of hot water and towels for my showers. Holly and Bert do a wonderful breakfast and took my dietary restrictions into consideration, which I greatly appreciated. Fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, rustic bread and plenty of hot coffee (along with some classical music) was a wonderful way to start my day. (Ask for the green salsa, it was delicious!)
