Great experience We recently stayed at the Hampton Inn in Greenwood, MS, September 15th-16th for a local event taking place in Greenwood, MS, The 300 Oaks Road Race. We reserved a total of 4 rooms for the overnight stay. We usually do not do this, but this experience warrants this. Your staff and the accommodations were fantastic. We have been singing the praises of this hotel since we got back from our trip. The afternoon attendant (Marcus, I believe) was very patient with us and understanding. We had to be at the race site early Saturday morning (5:00 AM) and Geneva graciously opened the self serve breakfast lounge for us. She had breakfast prepared and ready to go. The staff accommodated our needs and allowed us to check-out one hour later, 12:00, to allow us to get back to our rooms to freshen up before the ride back home. The rooms were clean and the attendants were all very polite and patient with us as we were checking out. We are heading back to Greenwood later this year for another event and we will definitely be staying at the Hilton Hampton Inn in Greenwood.

Horrible Stay and Rude Staff Total dump. Was not told it was completely under construction when booking room. When I arrived could not locate any staff member to check me in, when i finally did he was wearing sweat pants and a t shirt. Hotel manager is extremely rude, staff seemed annoyed as I walked down the hall while they vacuumed. All the hotel keys worked on all the rooms, I discussed this with other guests while there. I have been lied to repeatedly by the hotel manager about getting a refund. She is obviously a horrible manager and shouldn’t be in charge of picking up dog poo in a yard .

Not bad, but one could probably do better in Greenwood. Not enough parking available, room & hotel is looking a bit dated & bed mattress was very lumpy. I checked in a day early via the Hilton app. The app notified me that the credit card on file was expired. I updated the information and completed my check in & to arrive at 3 pm the next day. I arrived at 4:15 pm and the room wasn't available. Curtis, the desk clerk at the moment, worked furiously to get my situation resolved & apologized several times as if he personally made the mistake. He also made 3 phone calls to other co-workers who were not working to try to resolve the issue... no. luck with that. Since I was in a rush to make the event I was in town for, I asked that he just book me at whatever rate he could and we would fix the price later. He did so and took care of the difference in price for me later that evening. Curtis was kind, professional & a big help. I would suggest that in the event something like this situation happens to another customer that ALL staff be properly trained to handle this quickly & efficiently. It took nearly 20 minutes for the issue to be resolved with several other customers waiting to get checked-in. Curtis did all he could, but the fact that he & the 3 other people he called could not quickly resolve this issue was a problem.

Great Stay! We came down on Amtrak to visit my grandpa’s grave in nearby North Carrollton. I think this was a very nice hotel. We did have an issue with rooms but I was able to stay in the same room with my aunt. The breakfast downstairs the next morning was fantastic. We will definitely stay in this hotel again when in this area.

Never Again Motel is in very poor condition. Dirty, room full of mothballs, toilet doesn’t stop running, wallpaper peeling off wall, dangerous hooks coming out of wall and bed frame. Expensive The staff was nice- it is not their fault the motel is a mess I’d never stay here again and I would have moved if it hadn’t been such a hassle moving my older mother
