OYO Hotel Grenada West

Do NOT stay here. This is a letter I sent to Corporate and I did not get a response. They don't care!!! I rented a room at the above hotel on June 28 and checked out on June 29. I paid $133.10 for this room. This room was the dirtiest hotel room I have ever encountered. When I rent a hotel room, I expect a clean bathroom. However, this bathroom was so bad that my family and I chose not to use it and instead, went to the gas station to do our business. There is semen drips on the shower wall (or what looked to be semen). The toilet bowl and seat were clean however the toilet itself looks like it had never been cleaned. The outside of the toilet bowl and where the toilet screws into the floor is covered with urine and black dust/dirt. The bed sheets were clean but badly stained. The pillows are yellow but have white pillowcases on them. We did not use the pillows. There is gum stuck to the edge of the table and chairs in the room. The AC filter has never been cleaned and the microwave is the dirtiest I have ever seen in my life. In addition to these horrible things, the back of the bathroom door has never been wiped off as there are all kinds of urine stain on it. There are also urine stains on the wall next to the toilet. The sink top at the back of the room has never ever been washed as well. When my family and I discovered all of these things, I walked over to the night window to report my findings. I rang the bell; no one came. I rang it again, no one came. We should have left and found another place to stay but it was nighttime and we were dog tired from traveling all day in the car. I should have read the reviews for this hotel. Had I done that, we would have never stayed there. In the past, when people have written a review, the owner/manager only says he is sorry and doesn’t make any promises to clean it up. Also, the hotel is falsely advertised on the website because it indeed has no pool and it clearly shows a beautiful pool on the premises. Being a business owner myself, I suggest you look into my inquiry and the other reviews of this hotel location. At this point, I will never stay at one of your hotels again and furthermore, will leave an honest negative review. However, it appears that leaving a bad review has gotten this hotel nowhere. It badly needs to be cleaned as it is a health hazard to those to stay there.

Great experience I enjoyed my stay and will be visiting again very soon. The hotel was very clean and it was very quiet and peaceful. The staff was very respectful and polite and the location is surrounded by several restaurants gas stations and Walmart is nearby.

Terrible Terrible! Nasty they were rude and would not give my money mean rude it was horrible! It was gross and I had dried up blood on my mattress! I had to stay there because my lights was out at my house breaker box gone bad

Horrible This was horrible, we went in the room, immediately went to find another hotel. OYO refused to give us our money back, lesson learned, will never book with them again. The TV didn't work, the air conditioner kept cutting off, the room stunk. My husband said he didn't see a smoke detector, the pool was empty, no water in it.

Not happy Horrible room, best part of this place was the bed. The bathroom sink when turned to hot side didnt have ANY water at all. Couldn’t even shower, hot water didnt exist. Just not worth what we spent on that room. We DEFINITELY wont be back there, we will sleep in our car first
