Will be back-great spot! Excellent hotel. Convenient-right off the highway. Very clean. Pleasant staff. Breakfast was great! A very good value. Would highly recommend! Dog friendly-nice area for dogs right outside the door. Check-in and check out was seamless.

Good Place to Stay While Exploring Central Iowa The hotel is conveniently located near the Interstate 80 exit. It has ample off street free parking. It is a two-story structure. The front desk staff was very friendly. Our online reservation was received accurately. There was reliable free accessible internet. We had a room with two large queen beds with microwave, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, coffeemaker, mini fridge with a small open freezer container. The room had a desk with a chair. There was a self-contained bathroom with wall mounted toiletries. Breakfast included sausage eggs, and biscuits with other continental offerings. Cookies were put out in the late afternoon. Water and decaf coffee were also available. It was a quiet hotel with clean grounds and ample green space in the back. There was a porch area out front. The ice machine was accessible, free and reliable. The hotel had a pool and a whirlpool (which was down). It is a short drive to restaurants and conveniences including a Wal-Mart, McDonalds, Taco Johns, Subway, Jimmy Johns, and local places.

Wonderful Hotel! We don’t live too far from grinnell but just needed a couple days away. We do this every so often. This was our first time at this hotel and it’s by far been the best experience in the area. We will be back!!! The staff and breakfast is great and the hotel is very clean! Refreshing!

Solid hotel This was a solid hotel, it was spacious. Hot water worked well. Of course, we paid a little more than we should have, but it was busy because of college move in day. Breakfast was pretty good, the omelets were tasty. The only issue is that we wanted 2 queens, and they gave us a king.

Never again. Leaky ceiling…possible mold. We were given a room with a known leak in the ceiling. Didn’t realize it until the next morning when the carpet was wet. There were water stains, and cracks in the ceiling which tells me it’s been there for a while. Possible mold. Manager was willing to give me a discount the next day. This is not a $145 hotel. Should be half of that.
