Best Hospitality in Guatemala City I never write reviews, but I felt I needed to share our experience. The staff at this hotel are amazing, we had a bit of a random medical emergency at dinner in the lobby and they were so on top of making sure my boyfriend was okay, even called to check in on him later that night, making sure he was well taken care of. Everyone working and staying here was so friendly and made a very stressful trip so much better for the two of us. I should also add we had help from a stranger sitting at a nearby table who was also so kind to us. I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and hospitality while we were here. If we ever come back to Guatemala City, we will absolutely be staying here again.

Okay in Guatemala City Picked this location because of the proximity to the airport -- it's about an eight minute drive away. The hotel seems a bit dated inside with the furnishings and colors, but overall everything was. very, very clean throughout. A good place to pick for a quick layover to the airport. The negatives were that the front desk didn't seem to realize our Diamond status, we noticed there wasn't water in the room, so we had to go back down and wait in a long line of people checking-in to get our included waters. Also, they informed us we would have to pay for breakfast (even though again, it's included in my status). I let it go, and ended up just skipping breakfast all together. One thing to note, across from the hotel are restaurants, bars, etc. they played music loudly till about 10-10:30pm. It wouldn't have been a huge issue, but we had to be up before 4am for a very early flight, so the noise made it a bit difficult to sleep.

Great Stay at the Hilton The stay was great. The service was very professional and friendle. Rooms were very clean. They do have AC. We have stayed here a few times. They also have a restaurant and bar. The drive to hotel is about 10-15 minutes to which is great.

Worse experience! I called this place to make sure my family members would be able to check in with no issues. As a diamond member I’ve never had issues like this. I booked the reservation and added the person that would be checking in. Not thinking that I needed to put the number of people in the room because I purchased the type of room I needed that accommodated 3 guest. My mother in law and brothers in law were picking up my daughters from the airport the following morning so I had my in laws check in. When they got there to check in the front desk wanted to charge us 35 per person. I specifically paid 15k points that accommodated 4 and it was only 3 guest. It didn’t matter whether it was 2 or 3 on the reservation the points were the same. But there they wanted to charge 35 per person. Then as diamonds we normally get something like breakfast. Well the front desk made sure they told my 76 year old mother in law, no breakfast is allowed for them. I am extremely upset with how they were treated. I don’t care if we purchased the breakfast the fact that they immediately said to them and no breakfast for you all made it seem Like they were allowed to dine. Never using this place ever again.

good base to explore guatemala and antigua airport shuttle for 15 usd can be arranged. pillows are very comfortable. shower pressure needs to be increased. fast wifi, helpful front desk and good breakfast. also near a pollo campero, and plaza espana. centrally located and near airport
