Pleasantly surprised! We really lucked out finding this place for a last minute weekend trip! The rooms have been somewhat updated but the bathrooms could use improvement also. Nothing to complain about, especially since the staff was so friendly & accommodating. We traveled with our teenage son and small dog & we all had a great time. The views were beautiful and the small private beach was wonderful. We'd planned to drive to Pensacola Beach each day of our stay but we had such a nice time, we ended up staying 2 full days on the private beach & pool. We left only for dinner. It was a very nice atmosphere, we met some really cool people also staying there. I know the area has been hit by the hurricanes recently and the bridge is supposed to reopen soon, but we didn't really feel like we were inconvenienced by not having that access. It was great to have the calm bay to watch the water and also not have the huge crowds at the beaches.

ROACH MOTEL for $400 a night Worst hotel that I have EVER stayed in. There were bugs in the room, reeked of mold, looked old and was rundown from the hotel lobby to the outdoor grounds to the bedding that was way too old to be used in a hotel. Their 10% military discount given to us was $26.00?? And we were charged over $400 for one night?? Should have burned rubber out of this place…didn’t relax one minute after seeing the bugs/roaches in the room. This place should be condemned! I have no idea when the photos were taken that are posted on the website but I would guess they were taken in the 1980’s after having stayed in this place. I feel the need to burn our luggage and clothes vs. bringing home any unwanted critters from this “Quality Inn”.

Should be condemned Horrible! Filthy! Discussed! Beds full of urin stains 20 year old matress, hair on floors in shower on walls, paint peals sink dont drain lights dont work dog feces all over near pool cigarette butts everywhere overpriced restaurant was open but they have to had you a brown paper bag breakfast over the graffiti front desk windows, choice privileges were notified and unwilling to even comp me enough points for a free room , assistant manager was nice she refunded me and was understanding view was amazing with sunset but rooms are atrocious! Dont waste your money

WORST HOTEL I just want to say, when I arrived I was VERY surprised, the hotel definitely does not justify the price per night. No gym? No working pool. No breakfast. No room service. I have NEVER paid 400 a night to stay in a roach motel. Don’t believe me!! Look at the images of the room! HORRIBLE! I can’t believe they think this is hospitality! I DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL one positive note is the small “beach” right by the hotel. Aside from that little to see and a lot to spend!

AC/Fan Needs Replacing We stopped for one night during our road trip and while the view was absolutely amazing and the location was perfect, it was impossible to sleep. The AC Unit/Fan was SO ungodly loud and would start and stop throughout the night. We got little to no sleep and were beyond stressed about it the next morning. Unfortunately, turning it off wasn't an option as it would have been way too hot. There were also some broken tiles in our bathtub which made it look very dingey.
