Staybridge is awesome! Hotel review - staybridge, Gulf Shores We just completed a three-week stay at the staybridge in Gulf Shores. We have no complaints. We had a great stay. The staff was awesome. Special kudos go to Rebecca at the front desk, Gerald who was at the front desk and worked the socials. He was great. He certainly went above and beyond. He is really suited to work in a place such as staybridge. I can see him being in a management someday. Such a hard worker and pleasant personality. Tyson, who worked the socials and in the hotel was also awesome. You have great cleaning people. There is one lady who I don't know her name but she was had blondish brown hair and she had been there for 15 years or so. Ian, was also awesome and so polite and helpful. Carmen was also great and polite and helpful. They were ready to help you at the drop of a hat and do anything they could to make your stay pleasant. There were other staff members that were just wonderful but I don't know their names. Overall, you have a wonderful staff and they have great attitudes and work hard and make our stay there great. We want to come back next year and possibly for a longer time. All of our expectations were met. Breakfast was great. Dora was also awesome in preparing the breakfast and keeping it filled and clean. She had a wonderful sweet attitude. We also were happy to talk with the manager, Mitesh. He seemed very interested in what we had to say and in making things pleasant for the customers. Again, thank you so much everyone for your hard work and for the great stay we had at Staybridge in Gulf Shores. We’ll see you next year! Keep up the good work! Marti & John

Terrible Beds, but good food. The bed in our room was literally broken in the middle. It made loud noises when anyone moved on it, like it would fall apart. Brought this to the manager's attention, they offered to change our room (not an option for us because we had a suite and a lot of stuff, and didn't want to waste precious vacation time moving) so they put extra padding on the bed. Didn't help. Also, the room was not as clean as it could have been. We ended up going down the road to Hampton Inn (much nicer, very clean, better beds). I rank this as "poor" because a hotel should NOT keep broken beds in service; that's just cheapness at the expense of the guests (and the maintenance man agreed that the bed was broken and had to be replaced and that the room should be put out of service until it was). ALSO, other guests were complaining about the bad beds in their rooms, so changing rooms would have been a waste of our time. The main good thing about this Staybridge is that the breakfast crew does a good job, as does the staff for the afternoon gatherings. In short, it's improved a lot since last year (see "terrible" reviews), but still needs work. We chose this hotel because we'd been there 5 years ago when it was pretty new, and had a very pleasant stay. It clearly has gone through some oscillations of good and bad management... Better now, but needs improvement (As noted above).

Exceptional Customer Service I would like to thank and praise Gerald, one of the associates at the front check-in desk. Gerald was very friendly, warm, and welcoming, offering extra information and ideas for an exceptional stay. He went above and beyond, by complimenting us with a bottle of prosecco after we had an a/c outage. He repaired it extremely quickly. We enjoyed the pool, the room was nice and staff was overall nice and kind. Shout out to Gerald! He is awesome!!
