We enjoyed our stay! Very friendly staff. Rooms were very clean . The staff kept on checking up on my family to see if the needed anything. The hotel is close to six flags and their is a lot of places to eat, also places to go shopping at. They also have breakfast if you don't want to go out in the morning and that saves you mo ey since everything is so expensive now. This hotel is nice, friendly, comfortable and affordable.

Wingate Gurnee - Great It is obvious this hotel is not new, BUT, for the most part it is maintained satisfactorily and is quite comfortable. Everything is clean and presentable. And the biggest selling point for this location, by far, is the staff! Every single employee here made each guest feel special. As a guest I never knew if I was dealing with a top manager or the lowest new employee - every one of them made me feel as though I was the only guest and my needs were most important to be handled promptly. Our room was immediately next to the elevator and we NEVER heard a single sound from it, which initially was a concern. Nor did we hear any sound from any other room either. VERY good insulation! The Wingate Gurnee is also easy to find by GPS (don't be confused by the Comfort Inn sign out front because they share one drive). One singular complaint: our bathroom door didn't close properly - not a big deal for us. What else can I say? We had one of the most comfortable beds and pillows ever, and I slept hours later than I normally do at home. Thank you Wingate Gurnee! Really!

Trip Six Flags Services was great, location is great, only thing is building, and rooms could use a bit of an update.

Nice Room and staff Staff was great at check in and check out. Very polite. Room was nice as well, comfy bed and hotel is in a good area. Surrounded by a lot of amenities.

Do not expect a good breakfast. Worst hotel breakfast ever. Very limited options, waffles were eggs waffles wrapped in plastic wrap, muffins were tiny and only chocolate chip, banana were over ripe, scrambled eggs looked ok if you are a scrambled egg person, hash browns and sausage only. Ended up not eating at all. We ended up staying in room 107, 1st hotel I have ever stayed in that had a dehumidifier in the room, it was so loud we had to turn it off. Wondering why there was a moisture problem in the room that required a dehumidifier, Other than that the room was clean, the bed comfy.
