A decent stay by someone who's not the target audience Pros: Water park looked fun, lots to do for families with children. Cons: Gets pricey, suites not as advertised 9and very basic). I'll preface this review by stating I stayed at this property because of a convention using this as the host property, and not because I had children to take advantage of all it has to offer. Therefore my review is based not on being the property's target demographic. As soon as I entered, I began questioning my decision to not stay somewhere else in the area. I was sure that a building filled with children would have been uncomfortably noisy, and maybe it would have been had my room been closer to the atrium. However, I was pleasantly surprised to have not heard a peep outside my door during sleeping hours all three nights I was here. My room was very basic- two beds, some simple furniture, and a minimum of decoration (not at all lodge-like). At least it was comfortable. Still, I was disappointed because the suite that I'd apparently booked was not the room that I was given (the website showed it should have had a separate sleeping area for kids, making it look much larger than it actually was). I wish I had had time to enjoy the water park, because it looked fun. I noticed that a lot of what else was offered cost extra money- a common theme at the property. While killing time waiting for me, my wife contemplated a meal at one of the restaurants before being turned away by the prices. She found her way to a restaurant in the immediate area and enjoyed a cheaper (and likely better) meal. Which is probably true of the property in general- unless taking advantage of its specific perks, there are likely cheaper and better lodging options not too far away.

Forget about the lazy river. This is my fourth or fifth stay at this location and this time around I feel like the experience is more or less ruined because this time there are next to no tubes available for the lazy river, normally my favorite part. Most people go without and just wade through the river. Every other time there have been more than enough for everyone, and I just can't figure out why they went and ruined it. Rooms are clean enough, beds are comfortable enough. As usual they nickel and dime us to death.

Our stay was a mixed bag I stayed last night with my sister and 10 year old nephew and it was a mixed bag. Our room (deluxe family suite with balcony) was clean and spacious but the mattresses are lumpy, ancient, and was literally the most uncomfortable sleep I’ve had in a long time. The pillows were thin pieces of fabrics with what felt like a few cotton balls inside. The water park itself was fun and clean and we had a great time, no major complaints there. My only grievance is I wish they provided more inner tubes for the lazy river. They had maybe 20 total and most people went without. Dining was massively overpriced and nothing spectacular. The food is all basic cafeteria quality. We went to the breakfast buffet and it was chaos, we waited 15 minutes to be seated because it took a staff member that long to acknowledged us despite several open tables and we when I asked for the check, no one knew who was supposed to be our server (it’s a buffet and I didn’t realize we were supposed to have a server) so it took another 20 minutes to bring us the bill.

Do not go worst hotel no OSHA regulation standards followed Thankyou manager heather I have been coming to this hotel since I was a little girl; it was Key Lime Cove then. For roughly 20 years, my family and I have vacationed here for a week, but now the manager has unjustly discriminated against me and my husband, not only because of my son’s disabilities—specifically autism—but also by allowing a child under age 10 to be in the pool area without adult supervision, which poses a risk. I will notify insurance, along with the Department of Business Regulations, about using disability as a reason for discrimination. After over 20 years as loyal customers, it is absurd to be banned on Mother’s Day with my autistic 10-year-old simply for not agreeing that my fiancé was banned due to "too much drama" surrounding my son’s autism. Best believe I've contacted state disability compliance and the business regulations officer to report the harassment from this hotel; everything has been recorded and documented as I pursue my studies to become a civil lawyer. It’s strange that I, being white, and my fiancé, who is mixed, faced issues, especially because it was acceptable for me to stay until I referenced the contract I paid for that night. I was allowed 2 guests for my room size.
