Solid Hampton Inn stay with one minor wrinkle (compensated!) Yet another solid Hampton Inn - clean, good breakfast, courteous attentive staff at all hours, well run perks like all hours coffee/tea, very well run/nicely heated indoor pool. We had a minor glitch this stay - one of our two rooms had had some kind of water leak (from windows or the AC, unclear) and a big patch of rug was absolutely soaked. We checked in too late to change rooms (on our end; hotel was willing but it was 11pm by the time we checked in - a 2 year old was already nearly asleep in his pack and play on top of towels). Next day management graciously offered a significant discount on the night as an apology (thanks to Mallory for handling this awkward situation with grace). I'd dock a star for the lack of attentiveness in checking the room before marking it as guest ready, but the handling by the night and morning staff earns it back with a greater respect for Hampton Inn - there will always be some snafus.

Room had fleas I am still itching after staying at this hotel. We stayed on July 19-22, 2024. The room they gave us was odd. It had flickering fluorescent lights, a table that came out of the tv stand, a kitchenette area with no soap or cleaning supplies for dishes, a very old microwave with a turn dial, and wait for it...FLEAS. Yes fleas. I had complained to the hotel that I was getting bitten in the room on the second to last day of our stay. They checked for bed bugs, which thank God, we didn't have, but fleas ugh. Hotels are pet friendly now, so I guess this will be something to look out for. Sadly I developed an allergy to the bites and had to go on steroids. I also had to clean every item and scour my car to make sure I didn't have any hitchhikers. I wrote to the manager, but have not heard back. Just so disappointed. I always thought I could depend on Hampton Inn.

Nice and quiet This Hampton Inn is located off the main road evenly situated between Northampton and Amherst. Route 9 traffic noise was non-existent. The room was very clean. Even the air vents were very clean(first time in ten years of using HI’s that this happened). Cudo’s to the housekeeping staff. We had a nice view of trees from our window. They even had their signature chocolate chip cookies in the lobby.

Great place! Very nice hotel with friendly staff and conveniently located. We have no complaints about our stay. The breakfast was great with great hot choices that changed daily. Definitely would stay here again.

Structurally Loud Environment Don’t stay here if you need to sleep. The beds are fine the rooms are clean but this place is loud. All you can hear is people walking. You don’t hear voices but you hear movement. Don’t stay anywhere near the elevators you hear those all night too. I have seriously never stayed in a Hampton that I couldn’t sleep in because of noise, this is a first. The place must be poor structurally. Won’t be staying here again, This Hilton property is not worth the price tag
