Great Value Motel For the price you can’t beat it! This is an older single story motel with all rooms opening to the outside. No breakfast is provided, but it did appear they have coffee in the morning. Front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly! *Note* Housekeeping begins their rounds early (8am)! My room was huge, even with a king bed. You could easily fit a Queen blow up mattress on the floor. The room was clean but could use some detail/deep cleaning in the harder to clean areas. The bed was mediocre in comfort - not as hard as the floor but by no means soft either. The king mattress was too large for the base so it hung over one side a bit and made it so you couldn’t really sleep on the edge of that side of the bed. The pillows were flat & lumpy. However, I slept great all 4 nights. Cable tv is provided. The shower is great - spacious with super hot water very quickly. The shampoo & lotion smell good. The entire flooring in the room is tile. The desk chair was surprisingly comfortable! I’d buy one for home if I knew where they got it. The mini fridge worked very well! My small bottle of water froze just a little bit. A microwave is provided in the room too. It’s a quiet area (unless a diesel vehicle is parked nearby & starts up before you are awake). Race Trac is within walking distance for snacks, lunch, & ice cream. I’d stay here again. As the title states, it’s a great value for the area. If you are “picky” or expect perfection, this is not the motel for you.

Never again We arrived with our boys in the area during spring break to visit Legoland only to find that there was a glitch with our hotel reservation so we had nowhere to stay. There was absolutely nothing available near Legoland except a few motels that looked really bad and had terrible reviews, so we drove to Haines City after seeing this motel had an available room and an overall decent rating. They had one room available, a “suite”, which we took for $185 which we didn’t question since we were desperate. The check in clerk was friendly and very efficient, but once we arrived in the room, we realized it was dated and we immediately questioned its cleanliness. It looked nothing as nice as the photos online. We kept our shoes on at all times and put a towel down in front of the toilet. If the toilet had been cleaned, it was only the top because the base and outside of the bowl was absolutely filthy. If they’re not cleaning this, imagine what else they are not cleaning. There was a kitchenette with not even a sponge or dish soap, and although it was a “suite” that normally sleeps up to 6, in the bathroom there were 2 hand towels, 2 washcloths and 2 bath towels which the 4 of us had to share. We woke at 2:30am to pounding on the door next to us which continued for over an hour along with a man yelling to be let in. Ultimately the police arrived as well as a dog to search for whoever was trying to get into the room next to us. We survived the night’s drama and went to the front office to get coffee in the morning. This clerk was also very nice and told us what little he knew about what happened in the night. As we returned to our room, we saw a man on a bike with a cart for a child that was instead full of his belongings standing outside our room. He then knocked on the door of the room where all the drama took place and was talking to the woman from the room as if he knew her. These were not the kind of people who we would normally associate with. This was hands down one of the worst places I’ve stayed in my entire life and between the filthy bathroom (I tried not to think about the sheets!), the clientele at the motel, and the night’s drama we left in a daze and we’re thankful we survived the night. I’m not sure how this motel has the ratings it has.

Good stopover motel Satisfied with location, cleanliness and updated room. There was not enough towels, soap and only a desk chair for seating. Adding a chair would have made a real difference in the comfort of this room.

Nice central location Stayed 5 days in this centrally located motel. Very clean with basic amenities. They have a basic free continental breakfast. We stayed in a king room and had plenty of room, with a microwave and a small refrigerator. Very reasonable rates.

Second visit I forgot to write a review of my first visit which was wonderful. Rooms are remodeled with hard floors and new shower. Large flat screen TV with plenty of channels. Beds are average. The only thing this recent visit was the air conditioner leaked and when I got up in the middle of the night the floor was wet. Luckily I didn't slip. I don't think you could slip barefoot on these types of floors. Notified front desk so they could make repairs. We would stay here again.
