Harbor View Inn

Amazing I was there for my husband birthday, the arrangement was awesome. Julie and Tina helped me a lot with rates,room and birthday arrangement. Thank you both for making this special occasion so precious.

Would absolutely return! Small, well-maintained hotel with fabulous front desk staff! We stayed in a ground floor room due to my husband’s mobility issues so the bay view was not as good as it would be on the second floor. I loved that there was a window seat, abundant bed pillows, quality temperature control, and a fireplace (although it is a wall insert with simulated flames and coals). The room and bathroom were immaculate and appeared newly renovated. No carpeting, which made us hear the woman walking in high heels on the floor above us. I absolutely will stay there again when I able to stay on the second floor with its better view! Great value for the price!

Perfect Location! My husband and I spent 2 nights at Harbor View Inn over Labor Day weekend 2022. We LOVED it! Skeptical upon arrival because it is a small, older motel but it has been completely renovated. The rooms aren't huge but comfortable fit the king size bed, small table with 2 comfy chairs and built in dresser/counter which include a mini fridge and a microwave. There's a large TV mounted above. The beds and pillows are clean and comfortable - 4 king size pillows that don't shrink down to nothing when you put your head down like the ones at my recent Hyatt stay did. Bathroom has a nice new shower w/ barn door style opening, slow close toilet seats so they don't slam down, nice vanity and sink. There's a large TV mounted above. They really did a nice job with the renovation! It was cool at night so we left the windows open to sleep. The Inn is right off of Rt1 and the car noise was very loud so we ended up closing the windows and putting the AC on. When we did that we could not hear any noise from the cars at all. The walls are kind of thin so we could hear our neighbors coughing/talking but it really was not a big deal. Perfect location! Right across the street from Pillar Point/Maverick Beach/Fitzgerald Marine Refuge. Great breakfast/lunch place right next door - think homemade bagels/pastry, grilled cheese, coffee - The Press. Easy walk to Half Moon Bay Brewing Co, JettyWave Distillery, Barbar's Fishtrap, Sam's Chowder House and so many more. The lobby of the Inn has a coffee machine - my husband did an espresso with an americano on top for his full cup of coffee. He's a coffee snob and he liked it. There's another machine with Orange Juice, Apple Juice, Cranberry Juice and Water. You are welcome to use the machine to fill up your water bottles. They do have fruit and packaged muffins for breakfast there but with Press right next door you have options. Staff was fabulous!! Except for the thin walls we cannot say enough good things about Harbor View Inn. We will recommend it to friends and stay there when in HMB.

Great location Nice cozy motel Newly renovated rooms were attractive and clean Floors were waterproof vinyl yeah (I hate hotel rugs…yuck) Friendly staff Morning breakfast was so-so… fruit, muffin and a kiddie yogurt(?) I’ll definitely stay again

Relaxing stay in HMB We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The manager was the nicest lady and so helpful in tips for what to see and do in the area. Our room was very nicely decorated and comfortable. The new windows kept any road noise out. A friend of mine used to stay here years ago and was so impressed with all of the updating that has been done. I would highly recommend this hotel.
