Comfy and Clean! My fiancé and I stayed for a weekend getaway. It was our first time booking this hotel. The place was very quiet and clean. Numerous restaurants to choose from. Not far from downtown Atlanta. The bed was comfy. Only downside was that you had to request for your room to be cleaned before 12 and we were not aware. I’m assuming that policy is because if Covid, so that’s understandable. Overall it was a pleasant stay. We didn’t run into any issues.

Didn’t sleep. Incredibly overpriced motel is what this “hotel” is like. See thru sheets, horribly loud AC with controls on the unit itself, wall control inoperable. Bathroom is gross, shower tub is stained like it’s rarely replaced . 32” TV,. Garbage on floor of elevator, l. Parking is dimly lit, security gates not functioning. Got up after trying to sleep for 4 hours, went to airport where I felt safe again. Oh, and I paid $200 for all of this. Sonesta chain should be embarrassed. I work for a company that uses the Sonesta brand for employee training, I will strongly encourage this Fortune 50 company to look elsewhere in the future.

Dangerous and unsecure parking area Booked this hotel only to discover upon arriving that there is zero security for the property in a sketchy neighborhood. Only three of the over a dozen parking lot lights are functioning. Very unsafe for parked vehicles and transiting through the parking lot on foot. The vehicle gates to control access to and from the parking lot were in the "up" position. You are charged $10.00 day for "secure" parking. We decided to change hotels. Was told the room was canceled without issue and that we would not be charged. Well, you guessed it. We were charged anyways. I am a Titanium member with Bonvoy. Guess that does not mean much.

Convenient to the airport It's relatively clean, modern, and close to the ATL Airport with free shuttle service, although you need to plan extra time as the shuttle stops at all Marriott properties in the area. The rooms are your basic hotel room with nothing exceptional to speak of and if you face the interstate, it's going to be a loud night. The restaurant is OK but there's a number of good places to eat within walking distance (recommended to be done in daylight or with a group).

Blows I stay a Marriott properties a lot, even before the whole COVID thing. I stayed pre-COVID, full disclosure, at the courtyard property south of the airport in September of last year, loved it. This place, whoa boy. I was met with a sign that said ring the box when I got there. A while after pressing that box. I decided to call. I got entry. I got waived parking fees, Nothing is the same. No bistro, no pool, no nothing. With COVID, acceptable, but annoying. However, I go to buy snacks. The desk clerk asks me, I think, am I a Marriott awards member. I can’t hear right and don’t want to get into can you hear me know. Between the masks and plexiglass shields. Not complaining about that. But I go to pay. They don’t accept cash, by law, legal tender, you have to do cards. Now I have heard of this, but hadn’t really run into people not taking our sovereign currency. Given the fact I am a titanium elite, but hate traveling to Atlanta. I’m going to use Hilton if I come here again. Maybe they have some balls and accept our currency, tainted though it may be. I will not back off of Marriott, generally good properties, excellent service. But seriously, local management needs to get a clue.
