PERFECT I loved this place. The walls were thin, and we could hear everything next door, luckily the people next to us were quiet and we weren't bothered by it, however, we woke up early and headed out to sightsee, so I hope we didn't wake them up, however, the place was clean and very very nice. We were visiting Macinaw and traveled here at night. I wish we could spend more time in this town, it was such a cute place to stay. LOVED it. I would come back.

Lake Michigan Circle Tour We enjoyed our stay at the historic Colonial Inn in Harbor Springs. Our room was comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch of the inn. We also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood to admire the old lake homes. The inn provides a waterfront dock with a wonderful view of the harbor. The location was perfect for our drive through the Tunnel of Trees as we continued on to Mackinac Island. Thank you! Marilee S.

Not as good as expected, but not many hotel rooms in Spring Harbor Great location in a resort town with little to offer in the way of hotels. Main building is surrounded by several other buildings, all older on the outside, some in need of paint, but renovated on the inside. The unit we stayed in was close to the swimming pool. The outside could’ve used some work. The screen door was torn, worn, and the lock on the screen door was shot. The latch on the inside of the door was installed upside down, and was tiny. One or two good kicks would knock the double door entrance wide open. The musty smell inside was not pleasant. The room was updated nicely, though, and the breakfast was adequate. The rate charged was more than I feel the room was worth, most likely you were paying for the proximity to the lake, and the fact that hotel choices are extremely limited in this town.

What a gem! I’m so glad I found this Inn! Me and my husband loved the room. The room was clean and cozy. We appreciated the coffee maker, we made some and enjoyed it on the patio. Everyone was friendly and it felt comfortable there. The inn was close to everything and we even took a walk after breakfast along the water! It was the perfect spot. My only complaint is how hard the bed was, but we prefer soft beds so it’s a minor complaint. We would happily come again regardless!

Peaceful Weekend This little historical place was awesome. I went for my birthday to see the tunnel of trees and here we were so close. It was quiet and peaceful. Just what I was looking for. The view was amazing. The check in was simple and the check out was even more simple. I would definitely recommend this place to stay at ic you’re looking for peace. If you want to party this is not the place for you. Lol I loved the planted leaves on the porch! ___
