Super 8 by Wyndham Harlingen TX

Worst few days of our life If I could give a negative million I would this was the worst motel I’ve ever stayed in the floor in front of our air conditioner was rotten. When I went over to the window To open the curtains, my foot literally put an indention into the floor. The carpeting is ancient and filthy. The bathtub super slippery almost fell in it as I was taking a shower. We found two large cockroaches in our bedroom. When we went to check out, they tried to overcharge us for our dog stating that they were to charge us $20 extra. They knew I had a dog in a kennel and the dog left with us every single day as we went to visit family. The only time I had a dog in the room was in the kennel when it slept at night. so the guy that owns the place went upstairs to check our room. I was nice enough to put the cockroaches on a napkin for them to see there was nothing about this motel that I would recommend. I wish I had never been there. We Wanted to leave, but we were there to see military family that we had not seen in many years and so we just dealt with it. There was black mold in the fridge raider there was black mold in the bathroom and the bathtub dripped all night. Do not go here if you want a decent night sleep Or a clean room.

Pretty Good Hotel This Hotel is quiet and decent. Directv in rooms is nice to have. Carpet in the rooms helps keep room from having that echo sound (sadly a lot of hotels are removing it). Any issues are usually resolved quickly and only 1 time it has happened in my approx. 10 yrs of being a customer. Hotel is close to grocery and other stores as well as various restaurants. Zoo and South Padre Island are not too far either.

stay somewhere nicer like the YMCA Horrible hotel would not let my dog stay there. The room was dirty with holes in the walls, It smelled bad, there was on soap in the bathroom, and the bed linen and bath towels were worn out and dirty.

Terrible Property is run down, will ask for a deposit when you arrive, will charge processing fees for credit cards, we stayed in spa tub room that was higher priced only to be disappointed it was not clean and had broken tub faucets.

Comfy We travel every year to La Feria, Texas for our annual assemblies/conventions from our JW church. Every hotel was sold out and we found super 8 hotel last minute and it was very nice and we got a good night rest. Very clean and comfortable. Staff is very patient too. Super nice!!
