Great stay/location We had originally ordered another hotel near NewArk AirPort, but since this hotel was more of a shelter than a hotel we found this hotel on booking.com and booked it right away. It was like going from hell to heaven in 30 min without ruining our entire budget. The staff was so nice and helpful. The room was good and it had comfortable beds. We got our best beatysleep. Breakfast was good. And location was awsome if you are not going to stay in Manhattan . It was 10-15 min of a walk to trainstation. 20 min and we were at Penn stadion. I will def come back to this location.

They turned my sister away because she was disabled. She has enough ID to check in. She has been staying at various hote They turned my sister away because she was disabled. She has enough ID to check in. She has been staying at various hotels for the past 4 months. There has been no issue for her to check in at those hotels. It was a 2 day stay. I prepaid on Expedia. We called the Police to help. The hotel is very discriminatory. DO NOT STAY HERE. We now had to go to Clifton NJ to have her check in at another hotel. They should go to jail for turning away a disabled person.

Run down hotel with pool not working We booked this hotel as it had a pool (we were happy to pay more as we were coming from a long haul flight and wanted to relax in the pool). The pool was closed for maintenance!!! There was nothing on their website about the pool being closed. It was really disappointing, and their solution to the problem was that we can book another hotel if we want??? I don’t think that was a solution. If we had known the pool was closed we would have booked a different hotel and it would have also been much cheaper. The outside area doesn’t look at all like the pictures, it’s run down, the umbrella broken, no chairs or sun loungers to relax. The chairs in the breakfast area are stained and look dirty. The hotel is next to a railways which is really loud when trains go by. Not a great neighborhood either. Overall not a good experience. I contacted their customer service on guest.correspondence@hilton.com which have been completely useless, which just proves how much they care about their customers.

Rooms only Ellwood Blues Would Enjoy Oh just no. Reserved a city view king, a premium rate, and got a double and right near the train tracks. No soundproofing whatsoever. Constant sound except maybe 2-5a. Told them I didn't need a wake up call and I was right. Hotel was picked due to a need for an available conference room and - in hindsight - should've just stayed at the airport. This is a dismal hotel that will make you question your life choices if you are on business travel. Not a great neighborhood either.

Another ok week in Harrison 08/23/24 I stay at this Hampton primarily because it is in easy walking distance of three good restaurants I like. This trip I had a large king bed room with a view across the Passaic river toward downtown Newark ( picture out the window is attached) A few pictures of the room are also attached. Normally this is a very comfortable hotel except for the train noise throughout the night, this time my room near the middle of the hotel had less train noise. There were a few issues this trip: - the toilet in the room did not completely flush, they got this fixed. - the first day breakfast buffet had no forks. - today no oatmeal on the buffet. - they couldn’t print a receipt when I was checking out this morning. All of those issues individually are very minor but it seemed like a lot of little things!
