Enjoyed my one night stay Had a great stay here. The bed and shower was comfortable, the staff were all nice and very accommodating- checking on me to make sure I had everything I needed, breakfast was scrumptious and much more than the bare minimum a lot of hotels tend to have. No problems with noise at night. Not too far from where I needed to be in New Orleans.

Internet sucks The internet it terrible i cant get anything when using it and when i disable the internet everything works better. If they have so much money you would think they have good Wi-Fi. And in room 121 the phone does not work. If you want a good time with wifi I suggest you go to a different place.

Business Travel I was presently surprised by the attitude and beautiful smile of Savannah, the desk clerk at the Harvey Holiday Inn Express. It had been a long day, and it was a pleasure to be greeted by someone that seemed to really enjoy their job.

Awesome and friendly guest services Savannah and Jerry the evening front staff are the best! Hotel is exact what I expected. Front desk staff would give good recommendations on restaurants in the area. Breakfast staff was polite and if there was an issue was right there to help. Passing the maintenance staff in the hall would alway greet and would have a small conversation. As I would leave in the morning the front desk staff would greet "good morning have a great day" then coming back in the evening would greet " welcome back, hope your day was good." But Savannah and Jerry was the best in the evenings.

Overall a good visit; however loud A/C made for a tough night of sleep My family stayed at this hotel for one night as we were in town for a family event nearby. Check-in and check-out were easy and the staff was friendly. The location was convenient to my family event and it's honestly no far from downtown so a viable option if you don't want to stay in the city.  The hotel is under renovation so if you feel that the noise might bother you, then you may want to look elsewhere. We stayed in room 320, one of the renovated rooms and it was nice and clean. Pretty standard for a renovated HIE room.  As mentioned, we only got ready and slept here so I can really comment on the breakfast and other amenities. We only had one real problem with the room and that was the A/C unit which was horribly loud. We all sleep with a fan on at home so we are actually used to noise when we slept but the banging, etc from this unit was unbearable. I tried to turn it off and it wouldn't - it was so weird. It was really late and I was really tired so I just sucked it up and put in earplugs and eventually dot some sleep.  Overall, it seems like a nice place, but I don't think I could stay again just based on the noise. Hopefully for others it is just an isolated incident with my room.
