Best hotel of our trip! Relieved there was a room available for a last-minute stop. The hotel looked quite new and our room was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful when we needed a room closer to the elevator and also a shower cap. Complimentary breakfast was basic but worked just fine for us. Best night's sleep I had in several days despite sleeping at two higher-end hotels in other states. Hoping we can stay here again to visit friends in the area.

Dr. Rose Horrible customer service. Very arrogant management. I would NOT recommend this facility as manager Patel was unwavering in an emergent situation. That is the problem with dealing with low budget establishment. It’s better to deal with a more upscale hotelier.

Five star in all aspects We stayed at this hotel for 9 nights. It was an outstanding accommodation. Excellent and quiet location. Our room was spacious with two double beds. Super comfy mattresses and fluffy pillows. Our room was cleaned every day, clean towels provided. The staff was so helpful. Breakfast included a hot buffet and pastries. The cinnamon rolls are to die for. There is a laundry room on the second floor, ice machine and vending machine downstairs. You have everything you need and more. Loved it!

A very good, two-night stay We liked this hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was perfect for us. We wished that the bathroom were larger -- it has very limited space for the usual things we keep in a bathroom (shaving cream and razor, deodorant, hair spray, toothbrush, etc.) But the pluses far outweighted this inconvenience. The breakfast was what you'd expect from a budget hotel -- nothing special, but adequate and reasonably tasty. The hotel staff did a great job of keeping the breakfast room clean and well-supplied even though it was a bit crowded in the mornings since a bridal party was staying at the hotel. We'll probably stay there again in the future.

I DID NOT FEEL SAFE & SECURE AT THIS HOLIDAY INN! I stayed at this Holiday Inn in Haskell, NJ, in mid March because of its location and convenience to visit family and friends, as I have for years. This time though, I noticed a big change. It was very obvious that the hotel was feeding and housing a number of homeless people. Because I normally travel alone, I brought this to the attention of the front desk in addition to speaking with the manager. I was informed that he was not aware of this problem but he had cameras. I said he should watch his cameras then and he would clearly see what was going on. As I became more aware throughout my stay, I saw more evidence of this situation by the breakfast bar and throughout the hotel. Before leaving, I again told the front desk to please tell the “manager” that I am aware of what is going on and in order to make a few extra bucks, he is doing a disservice to his paying customers. I worry about my safety and the security at this hotel and I am uncomfortable in revisiting this Holiday Inn Express Haskell-Wayne area, as long as this continues. If you decide to stay there, please be observant and very aware of your surroundings because the hotel staff refused to address my concerns.
