If you are anywhere near Hattiesburg… If you are traveling any where near Hattiesburg staying at this hotel is worth a slight to moderate deviation. I have stayed at hundreds of motels all over the Country, this hotel ranks in the top ten! The lady at the desk started our stay off with a smile and an attitude where she just couldn’t help us enough! Her professional approach to getting us into a clean comfortable room quickly and efficiently was to be emulated by all other motel staff! She may be very well the best we’ve experienced! The man at check out was wonderful, please allow me to mention him! The room was perfect, clean and comfortable! The breakfast was hot, well stocked and very tasty! Overall, this was a perfect stay!

Room was filthy The room was disgusting. There were cigarette butts between the headboard and the mattress and the room was supposed to be non-smoking, the ice container had some kind of sticky gooey crap in it, the toilet seat was a different size than the toilet below it, making it short from the edge of the commode by about 2 inches. It looked like the beds had been remade, but nothing had been cleaned.

Last resort hotel The housekeeping was subpar. (I saw a q-tip on the floor that was not ours). The ac/heating unit in two different rooms kept flipping off. The manager finally came and fixed one in the 2nd room they put us in. There was tape covering the smoke detector in the fitness room. They were friendly and worked to fix the heater to keep our business, but this place should not be your first choice.

Quality Needs Improvement While touring Mississippi, we wanted to visit some of the smaller towns. Laurel MS was one of our destinations, and we decided to stay in Hattiesburg. The town and surrounding area has a great history and downtown attractions. The Quality Inn was chosen as we are Choice Privileges members. Very dissapointed. The carpet on our floor when leaving the elevator was stained and dirty. Our room was very tired. The toilet seat was held on by one bolt. The counter was full of cigarette burns. The sink drain was broken. The carpet was stained as were the chair and couch. The TV remote was missing and we went to call the front desk only to discover the phone was not connected to anything. The towel bar in the bathroom was broken and laying on the counter. The light fixture in the entry was hanging out of the ceiling, as were several in the hallway. Then, when getting into the shower, we see dried blood on the shower curtain. The bed was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fine. Employees were friendly and seemed concerned about our issues. This place needs work!

Greatly disappointed. Breakfast was below average - no sugar, no pepper, no sausages, no fruits, no lids for coffee cups. At least the eggs were hot. Internet sucks!!!! Even if you can connect, there still isn't any service. I called several times - each time they said it was working. I said, "none of us can connect." They said, "well, either our system is going through an update and should be available shortly, or too many people are using it." I tried over the course of the hours that night and again the next morning. Still couldn't connect. The room phone didn't work. Dog was in a room near ours and started barking early in the morning. Hotel says no pets. Go figure.
