True Hospitality experience with Troy and Yvette I was supposed to fly from Cleveland back home to Florida and my flight was cancelled. My only solution to get back home as quickly as possible, was to rent a car, drive down to Cincinnati, and take a flight next day at 6AM. I arrived to Cincinnati at midnight and immediately headed to this hotel for a quick shut eye (4 hrs of shut eye). I only waited a couple of minutes and Troy picked me up with the shuttle from the car return center at the airport. The hotel is right around the corner! Upon arrival to the hotel, I was greeted by Yvette. Unfortunetaly, the hotel was fully booked and I didn’t really have many options given the hour but Troy and Yvette are the true definition of what real hospitality is all about. They offered me a pillow, cookies, some water, and allowed me to rest in a secluded area of the lobby until having to head back to the airport. They never hesitated to help me and Troy even offered to wake me up in case I dozed off so I don’t risk missing my flight (I had just driven 4 hours in the rain). I am a Hilton Honors member and honestly, after this experience with Troy and Yvette, I will never book anywhere else. They were so kind I couldn’t wait to share this here. I’m writing this as I rest in the lobby… even if just for 3 hours. Thank you both Troy and Yvette!

Go somewhere else a little further from the airport The hotel is very convenient to CVG airport, but it is old and shabby and in need of a renovation. Very poor wi-fi in my room on the 4th floor. I chose the AARP rate with breakfast included. On Sunday morning, 07/21/2024, the restaurant did not start serving until after 10 AM. After I checked out, to head back to the airport, I saw that the dining room was finally open, so I went and got a table, since breakfast was included in my room rate. After about 15 mins of no one coming to my table, I got up and left. I caught the shuttle back to the airport and ate breakfast there.

Stay elsewhere Best part is of this facility: at airport, shuttle service (shuttle driver was great!), can leave car at hotel for $12/day; restaurant. Overall experience: Young man at check in seemed bothered when we were checking in. I asked questions about shuttle service and he mumbled something but never gave us good info. Went back to front desk an hour later and a young lady was there. Asked her about shuttle service, she was thorough with her explanation and gave us a card with the number to call. She was a breath of fresh air. I didn’t get anyone’s names because they weren’t wearing name tags. This is the first hotel in which I wasn’t welcomed as an HH member. Seemed to go with the young man’s enthusiasm for his job… Pros: Food good; Chase bartender was friendly (no name tag, but introduced himself); chairs uncomfortable; Holly at breakfast had on a name tag!! Although they were out of cold cereal, and breakfast basket pastries. To be out of cereal seems bizarre for a restaurant. Cons: room needs updated and bathroom needs some Tilex and mirror needs cleaned. The mirror was grimy. Bed horribly uncomfortable; heat was broken. Thermostat stated anywhere from 61-71 and was set at 66. Room never got cold. Too hot to sleep. Bed felt like springs coming through mattress. My husband and I both stated we should have stayed home and left early for our flight rather than staying at the Doubletree. This hotel is far below any other Hilton experience we have had. We will not recommend nor stay here again. Overall horrible experience.

The staff is wonderful. Sarah, Lily, evening valet and the room service ladies were so so so nice. The staff is wonderful. The hotel is a little old but quaint. It smells so so so so good. The hotel is clean and safe and I recommend it. There was snowstorm and I had stay there.

Quiet night Very close to the airport with a shuttle that runs all night long. Nice clean and quiet room with a great breakfast! Very quiet even with the airport next door. Fresh cookie and shuttle makes easy access to CVG and back to hotel. Second stay here and was a great stay. Restaurant staff very polite, great service and food was excellent.
