Mind the concierge 7 pm arrival. The sliding doors of the hotel entrance remained closed. We rang and waited in the cold evening air for 5 minutes before a grumpy concierge came to the door and again asked what we wanted. Reluctantly he let us in. It seems that he was not familiar with the concept of ‘guest’ nor ‘hospitality’ for that matter. The wifi was a case of hit or miss, usually the latter. There is always the TV, with a choice of over 50 channels. Make sure you speak German though, as you won’t find anything beyond local, regional or the national border. The breakfast was very good and the seaview excellent.
