Great family and pet-friendly stay in SoCal I've been coming to this Hampton Inn for years! I truly love it. So easy to get to and from the beach, you're close to everything but just that little bit away from the chaos of the pier. Vons, Starbucks and Ralphs are within a 1 minute walk with the pier being a 10 minute walk with tons of shops, galleries, restaurants and little bars on the way. Rooms are always clean and well laid out. Great gym and love the continental breakfast. Awesome and friendly staff. I've stayed here with family, friends, and even solo with my dog and I.

No hot water!! This may be a Hampton Inn, but is not the same quality as most. Most important issue there was no hot water. Despite being mentioned to the front desk and the manager each day. The exercise room in very small with only three machines. Breakfast was a typical Hampton except the coffee was poor

Hotel has a lot to offer First time visit for two adults, 4 nights August 20 through the 23rd. Positives: Location - Walking distance to a lot of shops, restaurants and of course the beach Staff - friendly and helpful Rooms - modern updated spacious and clean Amenities - free breakfast each morning Rooftop patio with great views, free parking , Exercise room Price reasonable Negatives No pool or hot tub Confusing floor layout Parking can be tight if they are busy Would stay again and recommend No guest laundry

You will love the location Fantastic location, walking distance to the beach and shops and dining. If you choose a higher floor facing west, you can see the ocean. The mobile key access was not working during my stay. $15 parking is reasonable for this area. Daily breakfast is available. The balcony rooms are a really good size, non-carpeted floor, microwave, mini fridge and wet bar. If you select rooms 421, 422 or 423, your balcony space is shared with the sun deck. While it is separated by a railing, those using the sun deck can see into your room. The television has no channel guide. Room 227 is right next to the housekeepers area which may be a little loud during the morning. The bed is really comfy and I was surprisingly impressed with the feeling of the bath towels. Ultimately, this is a facility that I would stay in again.

Great location This hotel is on a busy street but in a Great location, nice room, great AC, walkable to beach / pier. Very friendly staff, nice free breakfast and free parking No street noise, nice balcony and clean rooms. Ocean view if you look far enough for it
