Nice and clean My daughter took me here. It was nice and clean, and we liked the breakfast. They had hot and cold breakfast which was included in our room rate from Chase free anniversary night. There was also a nice Thai restaurant just around the corner. It was also close to the beach for my daughter. She walked there.

Nice, convenient option for this area This is a good hotel on busy Pacific Coast Highway. It's within walking distance of restaurants, Whole Foods, CVS, and other stores. The room was nice; the TV wasn't big but had plenty of channels. The tub somewhat slippery but there was a large grab bar; I suggest adding an optional rubber mat. The breakfast seemed like the standard hotel breakfast, though the skim milk option was a very welcome feature. Parking was free—another big plus. I would definitely stay here again if I were in the area.

Pleasant, quaint and comfortable place to stay. Convenient location. We wanted to stay at a hotel that was convenient and close to LAX for the weekend. Holiday Inn Express & Suites HERMOSA BEACH was perfect. Nice size rooms, friendly staff, walking distance to the beach to check out the local sites, microwave in the room, ample complimentary parking and an amazing breakfast buffet—staff kept the breakfast warmers filled with scrambled eggs, cheese omelettes, sausages, bacon, pancakes, oatmeal and more. The staff does an amazing job with the breakfast. Absolutely enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

A Perfect Holiday Inn Express Except for a little read noise, this Holiday Inn Express was perfect: large rooms, airy, bright, clean, convenient plugs, well-designed bathroom and shower, comfortable beds, friendly staff. We got a good recommendation for a restaurant to grab a late dinner ner around the corner. Everything we needed, and more than we expected.

Top stay We had a great stay here. Front desk was efficient. Our room was on the second floor and we couldn’t hear anyone above or below us. Room was clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. I woke up rested. Breakfast had multiple choices. I recommend they carry gluten-free bread.
