Good birds, nice brekkie. We stayed here because we wanted to be close to the airport for our early morning departure. While it's not exactly a park, there's a large green space next to the hotel. It was nice to spot east coast birds we don't often see at home. We checked in a minute or so after the manager's reception ended, but the bar man made sure we got a drink. Pleasant guy. That was nice. Breakfast in the morning was substantial, and fresh. Lady at the omelette station was kind. Important notes: hot tub closes at 9pm. That's too early. There's a good supermarket and liquor store a 5 minute walk away on foot. There's a Moby Dick house of kebab nearby as well, very tasty. Bed was fine. Room was clean and quiet. Water pressure consistent. Front desk was frequently only staffed with one during the evening. Not fair to the clerk, occasionally meant guests had to wait. Should be two there. Will stay again when after visiting obnoxious family members in the capitol. Quite restorative before getting on a plane.

Great Hilton Option in the Area Compared to the other Hilton options in the immediate area I think the Embassy Suites has probably been my preferred Hilton hotel. The rooms themselves are a bit outdated and could use some refreshing, but overall a nice stay. There are plenty of food options within 5-15 of the hotel and it's conveniently located to the airport.

Average Embassy Suite except for airport transportation Average Embassy Suites nothing more. Best part was the cooked to order breakfast and the cook herself. I found their airport van unreliable, not sure why. On arrival at IAD waited 25 minutes then called them. Was put on hold for 12 minutes then called back. They said van was on the way (also difficult to figure out where to wait along the curb). Was told van leaves every 30 minute from the hotel, in the hour and half hour. Missed the on the hour van, I guess as van was parked outside at 5 past. At half past, no driver, had to ask the front desk where the driver was, he showed up 5 minutes later after called on the radio.

Former Glorly, Now is Average Great reception, good fitness center, okay room. The room had thread-bare, fraying carpet. The refrigerator smelled like fish sauce and didn't adequately keep things cold; probably a unit on its way out. There were many signs this is a property on its way out of glory, unless they invest in improvements soon.
