Excellent stay overall – Outstanding staff & facilities, a few areas to improve Hyatt Regency Dallas delivered an exceptional experience during our 3-night family stay. The rooms were impeccably clean, spacious with beautiful views, and featured comfortable beds plus a fantastic sofa bed that worked perfectly for our family of 5. The entire hotel maintained outstanding cleanliness throughout. The fitness center was a highlight – brand new, high-tech equipment made workouts enjoyable and effective. Front desk stars: Mayada, Ruth, Doha, and Suraj made us feel truly welcomed with their warmth, professionalism, and proactive care. Mayada especially went above and beyond, ensuring a seamless stay. They’re the reason we’ll return to this Hyatt every visit! One disappointing exception: Receptionist Jennie handled our package retrieval poorly – instructed us to enter staff storage ourselves, kicked boxes out with her foot, refused to get missing luggage (citing staffing), and responded loudly, “No, no, no, I can’t do this” while serving another guest. The other receptionists resolved everything smoothly the next day. Another area for improvement is the breakfast area staff communication. Several staff members spoke to each other very loudly across the room, often in Spanish, which made the environment noticeably noisy and distracting during breakfast. It would feel much more professional and comfortable for guests if staff moved closer to each other and lowered their voices when communicating, especially in a shared dining space where many guests are trying to enjoy a quiet start to their day. Overall, we still recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, facilities, and outstanding front desk team, and we hope management addresses these service issues to make future stays even better.

Dark guest room - very unsafe - not suitable for seniors or children After checking in and entering the room for the first time, I fell because the room was pitch dark, and I could not see the rolling desk chair that was in the entryway. I injured my hand. I reported this incident to the front desk. They brought me a few bandages. No one seemed to be concerned about guest safety. After turning on every light in the room, it was still too dark. Is this really part of the Hyatt family of hotels? Very disappointed.

Great location & group room rates. Very comfortable bed & pillows! Perfect! The location and accommodations were as expected from Hyatt Regency. Spacious rooms, very clean, comfy beds, linens, & pillows. However, in the dining room, our order took quite a bit of time, though only one other table was being served. Then we were rushed out because we were told that the staff needed to set up for the following day. Our rooms did not have a microwave. We were sent to another floor for a community microwave, which had an overflowing, smelly trash can.

Never expected such a spacious room, or the amazing food at restaurant! We were there for a conference, and from my pleasant surprise when I opened door of room at the spacious layout, to food at the restaurant. Everything was better than I had hoped for.

Hyatt does not disappoint Attended a conference and found the rooms clean & quiet, and well supplied. Conference facility and rooms were as expected.
