Hampton inn, you know what to expect, A good thing Located next to the convention center with other hotels and well situated in town. There was a Hampton by Hilton above the entrance, so I am uncertain how long it had been managed by Hampton inn. Well trained and friendly staff, comfortable room, though bed needs to be updated plus some TLC with small repairs. Same breakfast as in most of the chain. My wife needed a walking show as she is still recovering from hip replacement surgery, there are limited number of handicapped rooms. Most of the room have tubs.

Excellent all around One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! The room was big, the bed super-comfortable, the whole room was extremely well-lit. Breakfast was full and very good. It was quiet and clean. We will definitely be back when going through Hickory.

Absolute Best Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at! I normally stay at Hampton Inn when I travel and I used to travel a lot with work. This is by far the best Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at! We stayed in a newly remodeled room and we slept so well. The beds are super comfortable. The room was super clean. Let’s move on to their breakfast bar. Friends, they had everything you could imagine. Most have some things, but this one had eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, oatmeal, grits, scones!, breads, pastries, cereal, waffles, etc. it is by far the best breakfast bar I have seen. And the dining area was spotless. I will definitely stay here again ( and would even drive a bit out of my way to stay here. I highly recommend!

Too Much Dust This hotel backs up to a construction site. Location has a confusing access road. The dust from the construction site set off allergies making for a difficult night of sleep. I like the reliability of Hampton Inns but I'd avoid this one in the future until construction and dust has settled.

Standard you can expect in the area Stayed 3 nights in March 24 for business. Large room, large bed, old carpet. Bathroom was larged also. Very good breakfast with own waffle cooking. Nice pool and sport equipment at ground floor. Good wifi connection. No dinner but lot of restaurants very near to the hotel.
