Super 8 by Wyndham High Point/Greensboro

Almost Great Super 8 Recently we had our home repainted and thought we’d stay at a cheap hotel for the week. This Super 8 is about 3 miles from us and the rates were great so we decided to give it a try. Anyone who travels can tell tales about a sketchy Super 8 they stayed in—let’s face it they have a very uneven record for facilities, maintenance, staff, and locations. But they are always budget friendly so you always get what you pay for. Our travel requirements for accommodations have become it must be SAFE and it must be CLEAN and this location met those standards. Firm bed, clean bedroom, and good coffee were all enjoyed during this visit. The staff was courteous and always helped us with our stay. Downsides were funky smell in the hallways, smoking area at the main entrance, defective keys, and a sad breakfast room—bagels, waffles, cereal, and microwave biscuits were adequate but forgettable. However the stay did what we needed at a reasonable price—and among all Super 8s was the upper tier experience. Wyndham has an opportunity to grow this brand with a few little tweaks. If they just showed a little more love to the facility and encouraged their well meaning employees it could be a better customer experience with very little investment. relaxing My stay was quiet and smooth. I was in town to visit friends and family and I wanted to stay somewhere close by to highpoint and Greensboro. The check in was quick and I was able to get in my room with no hassles or issues with my reservation. If i am in the area again I will be staying here .

Great value and hotel! I was driving through the area and decided to stay at this property since it fit in my budget and I just needed a place to sleep. I was honestly surprised by the quality of the hotel. It was one of the nicer Super 8 properties, I have visited. The staff was great and the rooms were clean. Plenty of restaurants located within walking distance.

Roaches I only stayed in the room a few hours then discovered roaches in the room and went to a different hotel

Not Bad for an Overnight Stay Staying here for one night as a friend and I were traveling between destinations, we found this to be a good hotel. The employees were friendly. The beds were comfortable, and the room was in good condition. It was a good place to stay for the night.
