Just ok but pricey for what we got Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location and pretty quiet. But the beds were both lumpy and all the pillows were very saggy and need to be replaced. Overall clean but had a crack in tub that looked to have been repaired and reopened several times. Frig freezer seriously in need of defrosting and couldn't really use it. Standing lamp didn't work consistently so we just unplugged it. Breakfast was the exact same thing each day and mostly ok.

Great stay for a great price Great hotel for a great price! Our room was spacious and overlooked the train tracks where a tourist train rumbled by every few hours during the day. The sounds were sweet and my kids loved running to look out the window as it passed. Free breakfast was basic but good. Pool and hot tub were nice. Fitness center was small but sufficed. Location to Mt Rushmore is convenient so we went early morning to explore and also at 9 pm for the evening show/illumination. It was about 1.5 hrs to the Badlands. The business across the way rents UTVs to explore the Black Hills and gave a discount for staying here. Very kind staff and, overall, a well run place. We left just as the bikers started arriving for the annual Sturgis rally in August, which also closed the main road in the town. Just something to be aware of it traveling at that time of year!
