The ants go marching Ants in room was a first for me. I did not have food out. I checked in and went out. I didn’t return until late at night when I first saw the ants. It was late so I went to bed. In the morning, the first desk associate I spoke to handed me a business card for the GM (who would be back after I would’ve left the hotel and returned home) and an ant trap. Said no clean rooms, hotel booked. Check back later in day. The second associate switched my room. I wish I’d had a better experience with the first associate as I was about ready to check out and cut my losses.

Mediocre Told there was no feathers in room but in fact 4 of 8 pillows had feathers. Every room around us had at least one dog, next to us there were 4. Like staying in a kennel. Room carpet dirty. The whole place needs a good scrubbing.

Worst Hotel Ever- No More Hamptons For Me Honestly the worst Hampton I have ever stayed at. The carpet tiles are not glued down onto the concrete which causes tripping. With them being loose it would be impossible to clean so god only knows how dirty it is. The comforter was covered in both stains and loose dirt particles. The bed skirt was wrinkled and looked as though it hadn’t been washed in months. Walls were covered in stains and dirt. There was food smeared into the ground on the hallway of the first floor for an entire day. The automatic front doors didn’t open or close so it had to be manually opened (which means our luggage cart BARELY fit through). The woman who checked me in was less than friendly. Only one elevator worked and constantly took us to incorrect floors and made horrible shrill shrieking noises. Overall this is likely the worst hotel I’ve stayed in.

Bug infested hotel Avoid at all costs. They made me pre pay and we had thousands of ants in our room. Tiffany was the rudest person my wife and I encountered in quite some time and never even asked to see pics. Refused to refund our account after her coworker Katie said she would

Bed bugs!!! On the first night we found a bed bug on the pillow. Was totally freaked out! Told the front desk and they sent management to our room. He then confirmed that it was a bed bug. The front desk was very apologetic and said they would refund our whole stay and move us to another room. Later found out that they only refunded one night but not the other two nights. Honestly, I just wanted to leave right away but all the hotels were booked in the area and it was very late and we had to get up early in the morning for a softball tournament. The room they moved us to had a weird musty smell and had hair inside the sheets. At that point we were so tired that we just slept on top of the sheets. I was afraid all night that bed bugs would also be in that room. I really expected more from a Hampton. The rooms really need updated and wasn’t worth what I paid. Even the sheets didn’t fit the bed and i could go on and on. We visit Columbus a lot but never again will I stay at this hotel.
