OK Stay We had a good stay. Every worker we encountered was friendly and helpful. As other reviews have stated, it is an older hotel. The hallways are dark brown with dim lighting, as was the stairs. The rooms are on the darker side, also. While newer Holiday Inns are brightly lit and brighter colors. Our room was freshened each day without having to ask. Breakfast was the standard for this level of hotel. Items were quickly refilled. The pool and hot tub appeared to be nice. However, there was a boys' sport team staying while we were there and they took over the pool area - no fault of the hotel for this. It was easy to find and quiet for being in a busy area. We would probably stay here again.

Be wary of hot tub. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Too bad the hot tub was filthy with dirty grit in bottom of it and slime ring around the tile. Not sure what year it was last cleaned. Gross. Reception was good. Hotel was in good location. Expect it would be easy to fix.

Excellent hotel stay! My husband and I stayed here last week for a night. Upon check in the guy was extremely kind. He gave us a map and pointed out 2 beaches, the downtown and some areas of interest. Our room was perfect- clean/had all the amenities we needed. Our shower was low on body wash and housekeeping promptly brought up additional soap/body wash for us. The location was great- short drive to downtown and the continental breakfast was probably one of the best we’ve had. We would definitely stay here again!

Nightmare Overnight Stay Worst experience at any hotel! Checked us in, assigned room, then several hours later, someone tried to open the room door and said they were also assigned this same room! If we hadn't put on the security bat they would have walked right in! Staff had no idea how it happened, said room showed as locked but no guest registered so they cleared the lock and reassigned to another guest. "Night auditor" called the room at 10:15pm laughing! saying she was trying to find out who was in the room! Complained at checkout and said we would not be paying for room, was told no record of charge in the system even though our CC was swiped at check in. Room charge has now posted to our CC and GM claims they have no record of this charge and can't do anything about, says to contact CC company. Awful customer service and what kind of computer system are they using that they check in guests and swipe their CC and have no record of it in their system? YMMV but I would avoid, there are other hotels available nearby.

Great place to stay My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Good coffee with the typical fare for breakfast. We would recommend.
