Beware Beware, although my rooms were very clean I was NOT able to control the temperature in my room. There was a thermostat but it was only for show. I was later told that the rooms were built in Tandem. That means only 1 of 2 rooms controls the temp, It was 58* at night and 82* during the day. Big range. My room had no control. Another room had control and kept their thermostat on air at 66*. I was not happy. There was nothing that could be done about my problem. Another thing is that the entire building was lit up like daytime at night. Every outside walkway, stairs, etc. had bright daylight bulbs. They had blackout curtains on the windows but they were not fully functional. It was light in our bedroom as there was 2 windows in it. There was nothing that could be done about this problem. The queen sleeper sofa in the living room was terrible. Neither my husband nor I could sit on it comfortably. There was virtually no TV show guide on the TV. I hate having to click through stations to find something to watch. The picture attached to this listing did not show the small drawer unit in the bedroom. That unit made the bedroom a tight squeeze. I would not recommend staying here.

Just a room, no F&B My mistake booking this resort on a colleagues advice without doing my homework. Absolutely NO F&B on site. You have to drive 20 minutes to get to even a McDonalds. Not convenient to get to, the gated entrance took ten minutes to get through because the gate personnel couldn't spell my name. Not a bad looking property, just didn't suit my needs, by far!

Double booked our room with spiders and scorpions! I own with Westgate out of Orlando FL. We came to Branson this go around for vacation. We have stayed at 2 Westgate locations in FL, 1 in Mesa Az, 1 in colonial Williamsburg VA, 1 in Las vegas NV. I have owned with Westgate since 2003. We stayed at the Branson lakes resort this time and this was by far the worst resort we have stayed at. The lake and the boating, fishing, and all the sites we saw were great. The staff at the state park marina boat rental were great. The best part of the Westgate resort were the gentleman and the woman who put on the kids activities. They were absolutely unbelievably great!!! So why did we have such a bad time with the resort you may ask. The answer is the insect investation. We had a horrible time with flies, spiders, and scorpions. I will not come back here again. My wife will definitely not be coming back she wanted me to go find us somewhere else to stay half way thru the week!!!

Loud. No View. Looking for a quiet relaxing space with a great view - Don’t Come Here. The pic shows my “view” of the lake. I’ve spent one night here and barely slept. I can hear every movement of the people upstairs and every single word spoken of the guests in the next condo. I’m an owner here and paid higher maintenance fees for the recent renovation. They obviously did not address the sound proofing issue during the renovation. I am so utterly disappointed. Don’t plan to stay here if you actually want to sleep or see the lake.
