A pre cruise 3 night stay. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights, ahead of our cruise departing Wednesday December 4th. We arrived to the hotel very late on Sunday the 1st. I did my check in online, so I already had my room key on the app. Our room was clean and comfortable. And it smelled good. On the 3rd floor, it overlooked the side of the hotel and parking lot. It was a very quiet location. Everything worked well. The room air conditioning was wonderful. And quiet. We did enjoy 3 breakfasts. The breakfasts were very yummy, with good offerings. And what we liked most of all was that they varied the hot items over each of our 3 days. Too often it’s the same thing every day. Thank you for mixing it up. Also, they had a very good breakfast room attendant. It was easy to get Uber rides from the hotel. And there are several dining options nearby. A very nice shopping complex across the busy street. Including a grocery store. We enjoyed walking that area. We did take an Uber ride from the hotel to the FLL cruise port, and that worked out great too. This was a very nice hotel for us, and close enough to the FLL airport too. I would certainly stay here again.

Day before our cruise We traveled Thanksgiving Day, arrived before noon. They had a room available and we paid the 35.00 fee to check in early. Property is in a good location, lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Breakfast was good, waffles, eggs, bacon

No longer trust the Hampton Inn name Hampton Inn has always met or exceeded expectations. Very pleased with all Hilton Hotels in the past. However this Hampton Inn is in desperate need of a serious renovation. Major disappointment. Location is excellent for cruises, breakfast is ok, but the hotel is dumpy, rooms are very outdated, and hallways were strongly perfumed. Room just felt old and dirty. So much so, did not sleep well or walk on the carpet with bare feet. Will not stay here again. Also, upon arrival into room, toilet was not working or refilling with water. Maintenance did resolve the toilet issue quickly. TV in living room had only audio, no picture. Staff personnel were friendly though. Before booking another Hampton Inn, will read the reviews for the specific hotel. No longer trust Hampton Inns.

Dark, dirty, felt unsafe with surly rude staff- go to Hampton North not here I stayed post cruise and wanted to be within walking distance to a few shops. This was an unsafe feeling, dark and depressing hotel with surly and unfriendly staff. The hallway felt like entering an old school or hospital- almost institutional like and once in the room - didn’t improve. The room darkening shade didn’t cover the entire window, so didn’t help for sleeping past sunrise. The hanging space for clothes is literally pegs on the wall, and the pillows were like fluff. Although I had a queen double room and eight pillows, it was like having maybe one pillow because they were so worthless. I heard banging and yelling off and on throughout the night and someone pulled at the handle to my room. I travel with a room lock and door wedge so they weren’t getting in but still super concerning. This was a total 180 from the North cruise port Hampton Inn, which is awesome. For the same money, that’s where you should go and not here.

Superb guest service I appreciate Virneasha accommodating welcome upon every visit. Virneasha has my reservations ready to go and makes each check in process absolutely smooth sailing. It’s really the small details of my preferences that Virneasha always remember. Thank you Virneasha _
