Queen Kapi’olani Provides the Royal Treatment Had a wonderful experience at Queen Kapiolani Hotel! Great location directly across from the Honolulu Zoo with views of Diamond Head. The beach is directly across the street from the hotel and Kapi’olani Park is steps away. Spoilt for choice of eateries and activities nearby, but the hotel’s Deck Restaurant was great and served a nice variety of locally sourced foods. Service from the front desk, parking valets and housekeeping was excellent and provided with the courteous and friendly aloha spirit. One of the great benefits this hotel provides is the use of beach towels and beach chairs that can be picked up near the valet station to be used as you travel to the beach - Free of charge! The hotel has an excellent gym and It has numerous cold water stations throughout the hotel where you can fill your water containers free of charge. We will definitely be back Mahalo!

Excellent service The service at the hotel was excellent. The concierge, Darian, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He helped me to book several tours on various islands (which I enjoyed and were insightful).

Gem Stayed at the Queen Kapiolani Hotel and had a really wonderful experience largely thanks to the front desk team, especially Allan and Tiare. I have super sensitive ears (it’s totally a me thing, not the hotel’s fault!), and after our first night, I realized I needed a quieter room. And then... another. And then one more after that. Yep, we ended up moving rooms three times not because there was anything wrong, but just because I was trying to find the right spot where I could sleep peacefully. Through it all, Allan and Tiare were absolute gems. They were kind, patient, and so understanding. Not once did they make us feel like we were being difficult even though, let’s be honest, we totally could’ve come across that way. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, and it made all the difference. Huge thanks to both of them. What could’ve been a really stressful situation ended up being surprisingly smooth and even kind of fun. The Queen Kapiolani is lucky to have them!

Great hotel even for Kamaaiana This hotel is such a hidden gem for locals. I stayed here with a friend visiting from the mainland and it was a great experience all the way through. Location is easy to get in and out of hotel without dealing with the busyness of Waikiki. The park, beach, restaurants and many storefronts are all less than a 5 minute walk. Lovely staff and the rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious for all the beach gear we had. I've already told family and friends about wanting to come back again. What I absolutely loved about this hotel…pet friendly!! Saw cute fur babies with their owners almost everyday. Will bring my pup for my next staycation. Thank you Queen Kapiolani for a memorable stay.

A little pricey but a great place to stay It was a little pricey but the view was spectacular and it was close to the zoo, aquarium and the beach. There was a large, grassy park with lots of trees across the street. The room was just big enough. We had a refrigerator and electric kettle but no microwave. The biggest drawback was that the people in the room perpendicular to ours would have a view from their balcony into our bathroom. The service was fantastic.
