Another Great Stay! To begin, we are HGVC owners. We used 'Open Season' to book our room. We stayed three nights. This was not our first visit to this hotel. But, I must say, it may have been our favorite. As we were moving from another hotel, we arrived in the morning to have our luggage stored until check-in. This was easy and efficient. To expedite our check-in later in the day, I 'checked in' in the morning so all that I had to collect at 4pm were the keys. The desk was not busy at 9am! At 4pm, we went to our room. We were given a beautiful, end-of-the-hallway room on the 10th floor! Loved it! (I like a quiet room away from the elevator.) The bathroom was as a big (or bigger!) than the living room. Huge shower. Free standing tub (that fills from the ceiling), two closets, separate toilet, two sinks! Great! The room itself was very clean. The kitchen is quite small--just a studio kitchen with two hot plates and a small(er) fridge and freezer. But, it was adequate. I don't cook much on holidays. It was sufficient to prepare a light breakfast. During the day and early evening, one could hear people and sirens from down below on the road. But, it was quiet at night! That was a big concern for me but I must say that the room was pretty quiet from outside noise! I will say, though, that we had a small noise issue one evening. I thought that I had inadvertently turned on the tv in the bathroom mirror. There was no picture, but the sound was as clear as day. I could hear it from the bed in the bedroom. Was it a podcast? A radio show? What was it? I called the front desk for help as I could not seem to turn off the volume. Turns out, the neighbors next door had their TV on. Maintenance called the front desk and the front desk asked them to turn it down. In minutes, I couldn't hear anything. While I felt badly, I was happy that the hotel dealt with it quickly. I wonder, though, about soundproofing--but, for me, it was handled! We appreciated, too, the bathrobe and slippers. While we had to request these items, we were pleased that they were an option. The rooftop pool was clean and not too busy. As many have said, it is really just a dipping pool. But, it was nice. We enjoyed a dip in the hot tub, too. There were plenty of loungers and fresh towels. It was relaxing to spend some time lying on the chaise and viewing the ocean and city scape. All staff that we encountered during our stay were courteous, professional, and friendly. We will be back!

Incredible experience cannot wait to go there again! First, the stuff is wonderful very personable and very helpful. This gorgeous hotel is located in the center of town where all the shopping malls and restaurants are. The room was amazing has everything you can think of, from the kitchen appliances, utensils, laundry basket and detergent, to the TV room and pull out sofa this room is much better than the pictures online. Bed is huge, beautiful and very comfortable. The well designed bathroom has a beautiful large Frameless LED Smart Wall Mount Vanity Mirror Bluetooth Wi-Fi Display with a big tub and shower. The views from our balcony were fantastic. We enjoyed the swimming and sauna at the top of the building. Lastly, there are scheduled daily fun activities and discounted coupons for restaurants and shopping.

Great location! I was very satisfied with the location and the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms. The bathtub is filled with water from the ceiling, so the floor gets wet and it gets cold, which is a little inconvenient. The bathroom has a bidet, which was nice. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Parking was very convenient at $45. Laundry is on each floor, not in the room, which I thought was a hassle. But it was available 24 hours a day, so it was not a problem. I can see why this facility is so popular. I would stay there again. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

The Hokulani may not be a "5* hotel" but it was a perfect place to stay in Waikiki. To be upfront: I am a Hilton owner. I was offered a "package" to Hawaii-- with the stipulation that we attend one of their offering events ( been to many over the years). I thought the deal was a good one but I did my research. There are quite a few Hilton Grand Vacation hotels in Waikiki-- My research indicated that the Hokulani was highly rated among these (and I can see why). I will admit, I spent an entire year pestering the folks that I wanted to stay here (they don't guarantee this- but I was extremely persistent!). In any case, the Hawaiian Village ( where I guessed they would put us) is definitely a resort for families (6 ? hotels in the group- lots of pools and shops). The Hokulani, however, is quite apart from these ( 1 1/2 miles walking distance). It is set in the heart of Waikiki. It is not on the beach but a block and half from the beach. There is no pool other than a dipping type pool on the roof top. However, this place was perfect for us. Not frenetic; quiet and peaceful. If you do rent a car, know that there is a garage with a 45$/day fee. Yes, that seems a bit high- but this is Oahu. The convenience of the valet parking was just perfect. The suite we stayed in was immaculate, as we have come to expect from a Hilton brand. There is kitchenette which we found to be extremely helpful for making our breakfasts (everything is provided: cook top, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer- with cutlery, plates, glasware etc.). Free washer and dryers (which we used). The staff were great. very friendly and helpful. Hats off to Cassel at the front desk- thank you for all your attention on my "big day". The hotel is located near tons of shops and indoor malls. Restaurants are nearby and abound. I will review some very special shops I visited on other posts. There are not many scheduled activities but we were out and about so much I don't think we would have taken advantage of them anyway. I would suggest to management that you have a great rooftop and bar. I would have loved to have sat up there at the end of day - have a cocktail and appreciate the amazing view. They have limited hours, which I think is such a shame. Seriously, it is one of the best features of this hotel and it is not being use to its best capability.
