Luana Waikiki Hotel & Suites

Problems When I arrived, the police were at the hotel for an apparent situation with a guest. No one was at the front desk and I waited for over 15 minutes until someone arrived. There was someone in front of me, so it was almost 20 minutes until I was able to start checking in. To make things more complicated, your system showed that I had 2 reservations instead of 1. Thankfully, the front desk attendant cancelled one of the reservations. The who process took a long time with the attendant answering the walkie talkie, front desk phone etc. . . it was another 20 minutes until everything was complete. The room was fine and I definitely enjoyed the view. I don't in any way understand the amenity fee when a pool and gym is available for no charge at a majority of properties. Finally, the concierge is not a true concierge. It is a representative for a tour company, so to refer to it as a concierge is misleading. A concierge is available to give information/advice etc. . . While the gentleman did answer some of my general questions, which I appreciated, he was ultimately trying to get business for his company.

great place to stay Its a pretty good place fo stay… 8 mns walk to the beach and 7 mns from shopping center place! fast service

good hotel overall was ok, rooms were clean and overall feel was solid. there is only valet parking available and is not included with room.

8/2 Overnighter Stayed one night. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well stocked. We didn’t need the kitchen but it had everything we would have needed. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Greta stay This is a fantastic hotel, we were in a pinch on honeymoon and this was a homerun for us . We can’t wait to come back one day!
