Comfy beds I’m tempted to give this hotel 5 stars based solely on the comfort of the bed and the kindness of the employees. Not only were they very kind to us, but my son also observed the extraordinary kindness of the gentleman serving breakfast on a very cold and rainy day. Location has good access to I30, Walmart, and a Mexican food restaurant. The room was very clean. We didn’t stay long, didn’t plan to stop in Hope at all on our way to Little Rock, but it was raining so hard we couldn’t make it. I’m so glad we stopped here. I don’t think I’ve ever slept in a more comfortable bed, even though the doors at our end were sticking and had to be slammed shut, once I got in bed it was lights out for me! Pillows, comforter, like sleeping on a cloud

Not great but no bad Just an overnight stay. Shower was hot and had good water pressure. But sink had low water pressure and the flapper on the toilet was bad so the toilet would run every time we flushed. The AC didn't work so well. It would cool but them warm up, even when set at the lowest setting. Breakfast was very good and the staff was friendly and polite.

Good Value — Comfortable Stay We opted to stay in Hope vs stopping in Texarkana for the night after a long day on the road. Very friendly and welcoming staff at front desk. The conversations we had felt genuine and authentic — not rehearsed nor remote responses. The property has been upgraded and updated within the last couple of years and for an older property felt clean and safe. A full hot breakfast with self serve options was fully open and available. Location is about a half mile off the interstate.

The Good, Bad and Ugly This hotel had some great stuff - yummy breakfast food, amazing shower, comfortable bed and easy to adjust heating unit. But there was some bad - not all employees with masks, a few doty towels in our room, guests allowed to serve themselves from buffet even though we had been assured that guests would have gloves on. No gloves out by buffet. Salt/pepper shakers on table and unprotected so who knows who touched the top. If this hotel had kept safe COVID protocol, I could have given a high rating.

Nice room set up I’m reluctantly traveling in a pandemic to attend a funeral. I really like the room set up in these new Holiday Inn Express hotels. There are generous power and light sources with a tiled entry and bath. The microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig are appreciated. Despite COVID-19, the breakfast buffet was still on. Appreciated but be cautious. Checkin staff had a shield but no mast. But the state order requiring masks still had two days before its effective date.
