Comfort Inn & Suites Hot Springs Midtown

THIS HOTEL DOES NOT ABIDE BY ADA FOR SERVICE ANIMALS When we arrived the clerk told us the hotel was not pet friendly, when we told her our miniature Dashound was a service animal. She said ok and checked us in. At no time were we told we were going to have to pay an exorbitant fee for having a service animal. They determined that because our dog is a miniature Dashound and I carried her in that she should be considered an emotional support dog and that she was a puppy. She is a miniature Dashound and will not get any bigger. Our dog is potty trained and we are responsible owners and clean up after her. After returning home we discovered the exorbitant fee charged to our card. Because they decided my dog was not a service dog because I had put her seatbelt harness on her when we walked out. We are frequent users of Comfort Inn and belong to their rewards program. We have never had any issues taking our dog. After we complained we were told our dog destroyed the room. We left our room in pristine condition. Now we feel we are going to have to document how we leave our room so our service dog is not accused of damage so the hotel can collect three times the cost of the room charge. This hotel needs to be investigated for not following ADA guidelines.

We stayed 2 nights and I would recommend this hotel. This was a nice hotel and we stayed for two days. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was usual/good and we enjoyed the warm pool. It was like a bath tub. Perhaps they were competing with the bath houses in town. Many beautiful, historic things to see and tour. This is where baseball's spring training originated, PLUS...this was the first "vacation spot" for gangsters (before Las Vegas was built). Would recommend this comfortable hotel.

Awesome!! Our stay at Comfort Inn in Hot Springs AR great! Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the breakfast bar. Upon arriving back home I realized I had left my hair dryer behind. We called them to see if it had been located. And it had been turned in to the front desk.. I was so relieved. The lady we talked to was very helpful.. We asked if they could mail it to me and she said 'Of Course". I received my hair dryer the next day via FedEx. I appreciate the way this was handled and will definitely recommend Comfort Inn in Hot Springs to everyone. 5+ stars!!

Quiet, inexpensive, comfortable, safe. Great experience! Family of 4, toddler and preteen. Beds were good, floors quiet. No complaints! Swimming pool got a little crowded, but it was a Friday night in spring break season. Will return here when the next softball tournament brings us to the area.

Anniversary stay Nice hotel _, big spacious room we was in shower door wouldn't close good and toilet kept running. ISSUE with the time I was checking out, it was wasn't written down we were checking out late,other these issues it was a nice stay. Breakfast waa okay
