excellent choice Fantastic stay. The room was quiet. Excellent service at the front desk. Breakfast was good. Room was close to the front desk and breakfast area on the 1st floor. I suggested that they place a handicap space near registration area. The beds were very soft. Definitely would stay again and the room rate was reasonable.

Very Comfortable Stayed at this property for three nights while on vacation. When I arrived, I immediately thought that the place would be a dump due to the way it looks from the outside. I was wrong. The lobby area has a warm feel to it. Staff was very nice and professional. Unlike many hotels that I have recently been in, the A/C actually worked correctly. The bed was comfortable which allowed for good sleep. Bathroom was adequate. WiFi was great. Close to the highway, but no problem with traffic noise. I will return there if I ever need lodging in this area.

Lying about bed sizes... BUYER BEWARE!!! They claim to have Queen size beds, but all of their “Queens” are 53” wide....which makes them Full size. Many hotels in the area with Full-size mattresses are $40 cheaper per night. We chose this hotel for a trip me and my girlfriends were on for a weekend, and we wanted a mattress size that wouldn’t force us to cuddle while sleeping. Upon walking in the room, clearly not Queen-sized. A phone call to Stephanie at the front desk, and she was willing to put us in a new room, but upon looking around discovered that all of the rooms are Full-size mattresses. We were reminded that the booking was non-refundable, but “just stay the night and the Manager can help make things right” in the morning. One of use slept on the floor, it was too cramped on the bed. In the morning, had the pleasure to speak with Amy. She would not entertain any discounts, partial refunds, nor apologies. She just kept saying “We only have Queen mattresses.” No, you don’t. Mattress sizes are an industry standard. You’re not going to just slap some lipstick on a trout and call it Cinderella. She also commented that “you used the room.” Well, yeah. We had a non-refundable room based off false advertising, and had a predatory bait and switch provided by night shift telling us that the Manager would make things right. I’ve tried calling and emailing this business to file formal complaints, they’ve ignored me thus far. I will edit this review if I ever hear back. TL;DR – Stay away, this place is scammy.

Clean Room, Nice Attendant, worst bed ever! Room was clean, Attendant was very nice. The bed is hands down the worst bed , it was like a sheet of plywood. I actually considered going to to my car to sleep during the night. Also, it's a two story hotel and there was no elevator, was not expecting that with the strict ADA laws in MI. Had to lug everything up and down stairs. Refrigerator in room didn't work either. I would not stay here again.

Should have been better We stayed for 2 nights on our way to the Upper Peninsula. The first night, I killed 3 spiders in our room. The second day, my daughter was bit by a spider while taking a nap. When I brought it up to the Front Desk, they made an excuse that they had sprayed outside, so all the spiders came inside. That night the lady allowed us to switch rooms. It was an inconvenience to us but we did it. When I was checking the other room to make sure it was clean and empty, I pointed out all of the spiders in the stairwell. There were approximately a dozen of them. She stated she would clean up the spiders. The next morning, after monitoring my daughter all night, it was decided we needed to go to an Urgent Care. I again notified the Front Desk, as we checked out. I was told by the worker that she would speak to her manager about our stay. Go figure, nothing was done, was still charged full price and I have yet to hear from the hotel! Do not stay here! To top it all off, the worker that night did nothing. All of the spiders were still in the stairwell. She never even tried! We will not stay here ever again!
