Great hotel fro great price This is now Quality Inn. Going North, after the railroad there are two hotel, this is the one nearest to the corner. I've made the reservation at the front desk, it was 10 USD more than doing it through the hotel website. Anyway, I was in a rush to get away from another hotel and just wanted to get a clean bed. This is a great location, pleasant room, coffee, hot water and chocolate/tea bags available 24 hours. Room was very nice and spacious, well kept, bathroom very pleasant as well. Breakfast very basic, coffee, pancake, juice and I do not recall what else's but that was it. Which is OK because the price of the hotel was in the 70-80 USD. Mind you breakfast of great quality nice coffee, freshly made pancake in the machine, so I'm not complaining. Great hotel to go (20 USD less than the next one) for business in the area.

Definitely the first and last time we'll be staying in an America's Best Value Inn. I booked here to meet up friends from out of state for our trip to the Renaissance Festival. When we arrived, the people working were less than happy to help us and I was told the Non-Smoking King Suite that I reserved the month prior was not available, but I had the option of a room with two Queen's or a Smoking King Suite. My boyfriend and I shrugged and went with the Smoking, we wanted a big bed, and went up to the third floor to the available room. When we walked in the first thing that hit us was the smell... the second were the giant roaches running around like they owned the place. We popped down to our friend's room (Room 211) to drop off our items and saw that their room was just as bad, though minus the roaches. (From what we saw.) The floor was unstable, a leak went from the bathroom down the room to below the air conditioning where a hole had formed. I could almost feel the room flex under my weight. We ended up getting a new room because we had to have a place to stay and went with the two queens. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The mattresses were off, very old, and could use updating, as were the pillows. Almost everything had burn marks or stains. The freezer had mold growing in it, the room was missing everything that was in the online pictures minus the beds and tv. It was just very... deceiving. I had hope when I walked in, even with the obvious prostitutes walking in and out and the smell of weed. We walked in and there were gaudy fancy couches and a fancy chandelier. But beyond that it was just a dump. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay where you don't mind hookers and homeless roaming, an occasional masked man leaving the hotel (I kid you not a man walked out with a full on ski mask as we were entering), no breakfast, dirty sheets and towels and sharing a room with roaches, this is your place. If not, maybe spend the few extra dollars and get a room somewhere you don't have to worry about bringing bedbugs home or getting mugged.

Smoke Filled/ not secure Trouble place to stay. Not worth 89 bucks per night. We left in the middle of the night because we could not take the smoke smell and paint smell. Our throats begin to close we had to get out of there. Our first room was so strong with smoke smell we immediately asked for a non smoker room. The attendant said they had no rooms available . I asked for a refund. Another room became available across the hall. That room was a little better as far as the smell. We could still smell the smoke. The room looked old just nasty. We stayed about 2 hours and we had to leave. Now if your business is for a rendezvous this the is place for you. Clean sheets and nice room is not your goal here if that is what you are looking for. Like I said we became ill because the air quality and smell of smoke and whatever other fumes. I would not complain as much if the charge was less the 50$z. 80$ way too much for this type of room. Beware the pictures are deceiving. Check out my pictures.

Horrible Experience! I booked this hotel because of the beautiful picture of the indoor pool and hot tub! Unfortunately neither were open because of Covid. If I had been told at booking it was closed I would have expected it. I heard on the news “Texas is opened back up” Hotels in Minnesota and Wisconsin with indoor pools are open so this was definitely not expected. I also had a room with no coffee maker. My daughters room had a fridge mine did not. The tubs had no stoppers. We had to purchase stoppers from Walmart to take a bath! The front desk agent that is the owners nephew called my husband an “old man”! That isn’t very customer friendly! No one was friendly at this hotel! The beds did not have blankets only a very thin bedspread. Another purchase from Walmart was a blanket for the bed. If you are going to stay here don’t expect to swim, bring a coffee pot and blanket and tub stopper! Also don’t expect any Texas hospitality! Since I was born in Texas this is the one that stings the most!

Decent Stay One night stay before our son's jiu-jitsu competition. Good price. Room was very roomy. Large bathroom. Conveniently located. Neighborhood seems semi-safe. Beds are soft. Would stay again if in the area. Indoor pool. Not sure how well the room was cleaned before our stay--we found cigars in one of the end tables. I would still stay here again.
