NIce, Clean Hotel We stayed Nov 2-4, 2023. The hotel staff upon check-in was very pleasant and friendly. Staff was attentive to needs. Breakfast was less than desired, though. Omelet was overcooked 1st morning. 2nd morning-scrambled eggs were undercooked. The room was nice and clean. The water pressure from the shower head was horrible but if you were taking a soaking bath, it seemed fine to fill up the tub. Hot water was almost non-existent. Barely even warm. Advised front desk and she advised, owner was coming to look at it. Got the feeling we were not the only ones to complain about the water temperature. Overall, it was a decent stay.

Skip I had requested an early check-in while booking and was confirmed for that. Upon arrival, although I received the key early, the room was not ready as the cleaning was on-going. I had to wait outside the room with my bags and family (additional 3 with kids) for the next 45 minutes. Went inside the room, it had a strong smell as if someone was smoking inside the room. although the room was labelled non-smoking. Complained, and the housekeep brought a room-freshener and sprayed all over. Didn't help. Had to be somewhere and came back around 11.00 pm and was preparing the kids to bed when someone knocked the door. Didn't respond but the knocking did not stop. Opened, and there was a staff of the hotel who asked me about the trolley that was there in the corridor at the moment. Who comes at a guest's room knocking around midnight and ask about a trolley that is lying around? The next morning, while leaving for breakfast, the trolley was still there. What as the point of asking about it when you are leaving it right there? Scary place!

DO NOT STAY at Best Western Plus Northwest Inn & Suites If I could give a -10 (negative 10), I would for the services at Best Western Plus Northwest Inn & Suites. The front desk man checked me in and said to me up front that the door to the room 218 couldn’t be opened. He would escort me to the room and use a key to open the door. Room 218 was the last room available and the hotel was full. I would be moved to another room in the morning when someone checked out. The person who checked me in gave the key to another man named Sam to bring me to the room as he was about to leave at the end of his shift. Sam took me to the room and opened the door using the key. The room had strong smoke odor as I walked in. After a long day of driving, I tried but could not settle in because I was starting to cough after in the room for a few hours. I specifically stated in my reservation’s request “Extremely allergic to animal hair & smoking.” Yet I was in a room that was definitely smoked in. I looked around and saw the smoke detector was wrapped tightly in plastic. That meant someone had smoked in the room and wrapped the plastic around the smoke detector to prevent it to sound off. I immediately went to get Sam and pointed out the smoke detector being wrapped in plastic. I told him that I will check out in the morning. Sam told me to talk to the manager who will come in at 7am. I could not sleep that night. I spent the night looking for a hotel. I came down around 7:05am and saw Sam who introduced Maria as the manager. I informed Maria that room 218 was a smoking room and I had to move out as soon as possible. Maria said that she was fine with me checking out and would refund the charge. When I checked out around 8am, she still charged me for the night. I said that she should not charge for the room and she said that she needs to talk to her manager Sawan or Saloan. I said that she must speak to her manager as I will dispute the charge. It is very unfortunate for the hotel to provide extremely poor services to the customer and refuse to make correction for the wrongs. I am glad that I could find a room at Best Western Plus Hobby Inn & Suites for the remaining three days of my stay in the Houston area. I will never come back to Best Western Plus Northwest Inn & Suites. I also hope the hotel will remove that plastic wrap from the smoke detector immediately as that is a VIOLATION of safety.

Rude and racist front receptionist named Aayush. Absolute terrible customer service from the front desk receptionist. We had a reservation and even called beforehand to confirm our reservation. Once we arrived, the worker said we don’t have any reservations. We even showed him the confirmation number and email but he did not care. He called his manager and she said to offer us a room since we have a reservation but he offered us a room that was out of service. Which had a broken window, we wanted to see the room before accepting it but he did not wanna show it. He wanted us to accept it without looking at it first. We asked for the manager number but did not wanna help us out or give out any managers number. Was very rude and disrespectful. Lied and said he’s the manager and there were nobody else working even though there were people in the back room. When we asked questions, he just went on mute and ignored us. Was very racist and rude. Threaten to kick us out multiple times “Get the f*** out before I make you.” I need management to do something about this asap. This cannot happen with the reputation best westerns hotels has. Terrible experience and will not be booking with best western again. The worker name is Aayush.

ANIMAL HATERS AND HORRIBLE FRONT DESK WORKER COMPANY NEEDS TO REEVALUATE ANIMAL POLICIES AND THE WAY THEY ARE HANDLED. I was working in Houston after Hurricane Beryl. I stayed at Best Western Plus Northwest Inn & Suites. I was there for 2 nights when I found a dog on the streets. He weighs about 8lbs. It was 7:30 PM when I got back to my hotel and went to the front desk to let them know I found a dog and I would leave in the morning. I could not believe how the clerk reacted. He told me I had to leave within the hour and escorted me up to my room to watch me pack. I slammed the door in his face and told him I did not need help to pack. Twenty minutes later I opened the door and there this man stood to escort me out of the hotel like some kind of criminal and then charged me $200 on top of it because I did not cancel the room within 24 hrs. I explained to the man, “One day you will have to meet your maker.” HIS REPLY WAS, “IT’S COMPANY POLICY”. The way he treated me I would hope would not be company policy. Plus, I rescue a dog and get punished by Best Western Hotel. PLEASE DO ME A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE WITH HORRIBLE HEARTLESS PEOPLE. THEY HAVE NO COMPASSION AND COULD CARE LESS WHETHER ANIMALS GETS SAVED OR NOT!!!
