Looks nothing like pictures. Will not refund money. Wish i could give less than one star. I reserved a hotel room for myself and three children for 10-30-2020 at Quality Suites Houston Cy-Fair Northwest as the hotel description stated three children stay free. When we arrived, was informed by a very rude male manager that since I had three kids, I would have to upgrade for over an additional $39 per night. That was above my budget. Guests were also walking around the hotel without a mask. Smoking right in front of the hotel. The Hotel staff were not wearing a mask. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures, Very dirty and run down I had no choice but to get another hotel but the hotel refused to issue a refund. stole my money. Airlines and hotels are issuing refunds due to Covid, but not this fraudulent hotel. Stay away

You get what you pay for . . . We stayed here on our way home from Arizona. I chose this hotel because I could not find a Choice hotel that offered suites with separate rooms, which my family of 5 prefers (Dad snores _), and I was able to get two rooms for about the price I would usually pay for one large suite. Each room had one king bed and a sleeper sofa. First, it was much further off of our route (I-10E) than I expected. When we arrived, I asked if we could have rooms close together and the clerk assigned us rooms 102 and 104. 102 smelled badly of smoke and 104 was musty but my husband, who had been driving since El Paso was OK with it so he and my son took that room while I went to get another. We were then assigned 112, which smelled OK. The room was warm but I figured it would cool down so I unpacked the ice chest, set up the sofa bed (I had to request linens from the desk and was only given two sheets, no pillows or blankets. As it turned out we didn’t need the blankets) and me and my two girls settled in. Unfortunately, the room never cooled off and it was too late to move rooms so we just stayed. This is July in Houston so the room was muggy and hot. The rooms definitely need some upgrading. There were only two small, stained towels in the room. The sofa bed mattress was covered in plastic and the old , thin sheets did not stay on so my daughter was essentially sleeping on plastic. The temperature control on the sinks in both rooms was opposite. There was a mold stain on the bathroom ceiling and there were spots on the carpet where it was apparent the furniture had been changed but not the carpet. At check in, we were told there would be breakfast but no meat or eggs. Breakfast offerings were: coffee, fruit loops or Raisin Bran, toast with jelly, orange juice and waffles. There was no fruit or yogurt or any other kind of pastry. This was all put out in the regular fashion, so it appeared the owner was just using COVID as an excuse to save money on breakfast. After a hot night I decided to take a dip in the pool while my family was still sleeping, the pool itself appeared clean, but the hot tub had a green funk growing on the walls and steps. There were no pool towels and the water wall feature on the pool was not working. There was trash around the pool area. I booked this hotel last minute and only read a few reviews. One was bad but the others were good. I usually disregard a bad review if the others are positive, but this time I should have listened.

Charged me despite my cancellation Despite following the proper procedures as well as calling the hotel to cancel my reservation, the owners decided to conduct themselves in a fraudulent manner and charged me anyway. They made a conscious decision to steal my money instead of cancelling the reservation. Highly suggest not using this hotel as their actions demonstrate their have no ethics or morals.

Violated ADA TWICE & Safety Issues W/ Room My husband and I stayed here for five nights in November for a business trip. I am disabled and we brought our two service animals with us. The manager on duty said he needed to see the service animal "documents" to make copies or he would have to charge us a pet deposit. According to ADA, businesses may NOT require special ID for the animals. This is VIOLATION # 1 We didn't bring our documents with us but luckily, we did bring their vests and ID badges. My husband took the badges to the front desk and they made copies of them. When checking out, I noticed they, in fact, DID charge us $117.00 for the pet deposit. My husband spoke to the person at the front desk and said they were NOT allowed to charge fees for a service animal(s). That is VIOLATION # 2 (They ended up removing the pet deposit fee from the final bill.) With the exception of one gentleman who worked at the front desk (his name escapes me), they made us feel inferior and unwelcomed during our entire stay. Not only that, the room was in unsatisfactory condition and had safety issues. I am visually impaired and kept tripping over the carpet that wasn't tacked down. There were broken outlets, the carpet was dirty and the furniture was in need of repairs. Overall, because of their rudeness and not biding by the laws, I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone nor would we ever stay here again.
