Fresh and Clean We stayed here for an overnight. The reception staff were helpful and friendly when we checked in and when we checked out, offering water bottles to our children, etc. We were very happy with our cozy, clean, comfortable rooms! We stayed there in September 2019, but this questionnaire only goes back as far as March 2020, so I marked that.

Average experience at an average hotel, decent value Found this hotel to be a decent value for money, location is very close to a very busy highway but noise was not a big issue. Our arrival was controlled by our flight but when we arrived around 1pm the first thing we were told is "no no no, you are way too early, no way you can check in now". We are experienced travelers and understand check-in and check-out times but really felt the response from the guy at reception was over the top and not at all friendly. Plus when a group of people enter a hotel lobby wheeling luggage do you really need to ask "how can I help you?" Isn't it totally obvious? Although he didn't offer, but when requested allowed us to leave our luggage at reception and we returned after 10pm to check in. The rooms are OK but bathrooms in particular in need of an update. Housekeeping is supposedly optional but our traveling companion requested it and it didn't take place. Corridor and room carpets are stained. Beds quite comfortable but strangely high off the floor. Pillows not that comfortable. A/C is a window mounted unit that is noisy but works. TV entertainment ok (includes Netflix and Youtube) but had a sound issue. Insufficient lighting, bedside lamp is made for two bulbs and only has one. There is a desk-light and then just one dim overhead light. Ample parking and ramps to wheel luggage in and out of lobby. We did not use any of the other facilities or amenities. Bathrooms in lobby are closed (due to Covid.... but they are open in malls, restaurants, airports etc so fail to see the point especially when some staff are not using facemarks. There are lots and lots of options in this area including other Marriott brands, we will probably choose one of those next time.

Really? This is a good clean property and they disinfect routinely. The night shift clerk, at 5am, I asked when the coffee would be ready he told me he'd get around to it. Now he sitting off to the side doing nothing. People make a place warm and welcome. How he got his job is unknown to me. While checking in I guess the manager came and left his SUV right at the door blocking the stairs and part of the entrance to the lot. Anyone coming into the parking lot had yo watch because of the way he parked. The vehicle stayed there more than 2 hours. Like I said it people who make the difference which has resulted in my low rating of this property. I won't come back here.

Excellent value, close to airport, quiet Stayed night before a flight out of Hobby Airport. The hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable. A great value with pleasant staff. Close to airport but quiet. Would definitely stay again. We drove to airport parking but would be an inexpensive Uber to and from airport if you need an overnight sleep. Some amenities closed due to COVID and no airport shuttle available right now, but room price was very reasonable. Check-in said there was grab and go breakfast but we didn't see it when we left at 5:45 a.m.

Nice rooms but the area is not great No Shuttle service either The main reason we booked this hotel was the site showed a free shuttle service to and from the airport. Even when you call their phone number they say press 3 to request a shuttle. There is no shuttle service. You should remove that from the site and from the phone options. We would have booked a different hotel that did offer a shuttle service. If you are planning on a stay here know that uber/Lyft will cost you another $30 plus a round trip to the airport. So you might want to find another hotel that still has a shuttle service and pay a little more. We stayed 2 different nights coming into Houston. One night we stayed on the south side which was nice a quiet and the other night we stayed on the north side which was loud from the freeway that is next to. Also, they need better options for their free breakfast like so fruit.
