Clean, Simple, and Easy Everything you'd hope for in a hotel. Quick checkin, clean and neat well everything, and easy to understand schedule and layout. The room was clean and very spacious, I thought we booked a smaller suite, a lower end one, so fewer amenities. However, to my suprise it was really nice. Good breakfast and many things are available for guests in the lobby. Desks, all night coffee or tea, a small market, free toiletries, fax machines, computers, printers, etc.

Great Experience in Houston, Texas at Holiday Inn Express We were visiting Houston for a celebration of life for a departed family member. We stayed at this property for 3 nights and stayed in a suite. Our decision to book this property was based on proximity to our family events and the reviews found on Trip Advisor. We were welcomed and checked in by Griselda who was helpful can courtesy. The hotel was very clean including the lobby, hallways and our room. The included breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. The food was hot and plentiful. The omelets were tasty and the scrambled eggs were not laying in water! Over all I gave this hotel 5 stars which is unusual for me but I feel it was deserved. Hope to stay there again.

Nice breakfast, but kind of run down Generally adequate, nice staff, but there are better places. Breakfast was very good--included a pancake machine! Room was quite large, but it felt empty and kind of run down. Indoor pool, small exercise room. Cut our stay short and moved to a Homewood Suites.

Avoid rooms facing the highway I travel 200 nights a year and my room was on the seventh floor facing the highway.I would say this is the noisiest room ever.Avoid the highway side if your a light sleeper.Everything else was typical HIE average.

Quick Trip - Great Stay Check-in was a breeze, and they even updated my address in my Priority Rewards account. Staff throughout my stay were very friendly and helpful! I had the King Suite with a sofa bed. Spacious, clean, lots of light. Modern amenities. They were having an issue with the computer in the lobby that can be used by those staying in the hotel. One of the management staff let me borrow her laptop as I had a couple of files that absolutely needed to get sent that day and I didn't have my laptop with me but had a USB stick. Also, the breakfast was the BEST breakfast that I have seen at a hotel that offered free breakfast. Ready made omelettes with veggies, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, bacon, pastries, hot coffee, and the warm cinnamon roll were the BEST! Check out was easy and quick. For rooms that face the freeway there may be a bit of noise at times but with the fan or AC running, it was minimal. I slept fine.
