Nice & Clean Wonderful place to stay after first checking into the Super 8 across the street which was absolutely disgusting! We got a refund and came to the Holiday Inn Express. Very nice manager who checked us in. The room was clean and spacious. Only complaint was it was next to the elevator which could be a bit loud . Other than that, great breakfast selection. Would recommend staying here.

Well done! One of the nicest, cleanest and friendliest hotels I've stayed in. It was such a wonderful stay! We will make this our go to hotel when in town to visit family!!! My room was right next to the elevator and I never heard it once! Also the breakfast was super!

Clean and welcoming! Very clean room! Cleanest bathroom we have seen in a long time! Carrie was so very welcoming at check in. She helped us find restaurant delivery for dinner. Our initial room looked like someone was already staying there so we requested a different room and got one immediately with a sincere apology. The room was spacious and well lit. It had a microwave, refrigerator, iron and board, hair dryer and a huge, very sharp tv. With 3 channels of HBO. The furnishings were all clean and in great condition. The floors were clean. Even the grout in the shower was sparkling clean! We are traveling with a dog and it was very easy to walk him around the outside of the Holiday Inn and down the country road for a longer walk. The breakfast room was also very clean. Lots of fresh hot food. Bananas and apples. Cereal, oatmeal and hot cinnamon rolls as well. Not much for low sugar low fat diets but I’m used to that, lol The woman who was tending to the breakfast room was very welcoming and cheerful.

Great (with one big exception) Pros: Very friendly and hard working staff who want your stay to be perfect. Also, clean, quiet, pet friendly, fridge/microwave/coffee maker in room, and a good size TV. Excellent hot breakfast featuring biscuits and sausage gravy, an egg dish (varies), pork sausage, fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, and even excellent fresh cinnamon rolls one day. Plus more standard foods like cereal, etc. Cons: Rooms are small, but efficient. Laundry detergent was not hypo allergenic. I thought most hotels have gone hypo allergenic since I haven’t had an allergic reaction for years. I was doubly surprised that even 2 Benadryl did not compensate for my allergic reaction. I asked the front desk if they had any special stash of sheets for people with allergic reactions and they didn't. Because of the pros, I’d still consider staying here in the future for my dog - but would have to bring my own sheets unless MGT changed their laundry products. FYI : WiFi did not support watching Netflix via a lightening adapter from an IPad to the TV, but did support watching programs on the IPad itself. Also, I don’t usually use indoor pools, but if that is important to you this one is probably half the size of most (which is still big enough to entertain all but a kids sports tournament!).

Very clean and great breakfast We stay at a lot of Holiday Inns and this is definitely one of the smaller ones. It was kind of in the middle of nowhere. It sounds like this is a negative review but it’s not! The place was kept pristine, there was a row of restaurants and fast food about a mile or two away. We stayed here while visiting Shipshewana with 3 kids. We didn’t have time to use the pool but it was open and lots of time slots available to reserve. Staff all had masks on even though the mask mandate was lifted, I didn’t mind either way. Breakfast was good and hot, we had to tell a staff member what we wanted and they got it for us. We used the stairs a lot, elevator was making an odd sound. Hopefully they fix that. Overall we liked it!
