Great Hotel Check in was great and breakfast was the best I've ever seen at a hotel. The pool was nice and everyone was very helpful. Only sight downfall was the pool room was a little cold.

Not What I Expected I was assigned to stay here for work in the area. After the reservation was made, I read the recent reviews, mostly one star. So I was very nervous about staying here. All my concerns were unfounded. When I arrived around 3:30 pm on a Tuesday, there was no one at the front desk, but a phone with a sign instructing me to call for service. I picked up the phone and a person said she would be right out there, which she was. Check in was very easy and pleasant. Later on I needed to replace my lost room key, and it was the same process: pick up phone, attendant comes out in a few moments. The hotel is not new; it's showing some slight wear and tear as you might expect. However, my room was clean and nicely decorated. Nothing was broken or dirty. There were enough towels. Each room has a microwave and mini-fridge, which is important to me. The bed was comfortable. I got to breakfast at 6:15 am, and I think I was the first one there. The food was typical: breads, pancakes, eggs, sausage, fruit, cereal, yogurt, etc. The dining area was clean. No complaints there. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and the area feels very safe. Bottom line is my experience was good. I would certainly stay here again.

Avoid this Place Awful! Ants! Rude owner. Friend was bit up from ants. I have pics of her bites and video of mass cluster of ants on floor. The polite night clerk offered a different room, but we were so grossed out by the entire place that we left. (We had been in the room a max of about two hours) Good thing we weren't too far from home- I would've slept in my car rather than stay there. There was no refund and NO apology from owner/manager. Nothing! Nothing but snarky words and illogical excuses from him when I contacted costumer concerns. (Corporate Wyndham Corp was VERY nice- but it’s a franchise so they couldn’t do much. Their hands are tied. ) Don't go there!!

Do NOT stay here! You have been warned. No employees present whatsoever! Many guests waiting in lobby, phones ringing. I called Wyndham corporate customer service, they said to contact the hotel directly. Several guests left and went to another hotel. After waiting 40 minutes to check in, I called police because I thought maybe they met with foul play. Dispatch called hotel three times, got no response, agreed something wasn't right and sent a deputy out. Deputy starts going through the back area and immediately a receptionist comes out of nowhere! She had no answer as to where the heck she had been and no apology. It was too late to cancel and get a refund, so we stayed the 3 nights as planned. We never saw another employee the rest of our stay. No front desk, housekeeping, NOTHING! Room wasn't great, bath towels had large tears in them, breakfast was awful. Hope you don't need anything during your stay, you are SOL. We travel a lot and have stayed at AmericInn previously with no issues, this experience has changed our mind about the Wyndham hotel chain.

2nd to worst hotel stay Wasn't happy with the reception. The hairdryer did not work, I had to hunt down the front desk manager for a different one. The toilet seat was not stable. I needed to ask for washcloths. Not a good place to stay.
