Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites DFW West - Hurst by IHG

Friendly Staff, beautiful room, Great location! We love Holiday Inn Express! My husband and I visited for an anniversary/birthday celebration. I called ahead to see if it would be possible to check in early. They had no problem with that. I had mentioned on the phone that we were celebrating our anniversary. A friendly, professional gentleman named Cameron congratulated us and offered us a complimentary drink or snack. We thought that was so kind! Our room was so large! We got the suite which was only a few more dollars extra giving us a living room area as well as the bedroom. The room was clean, bed was comfy, tv worked perfect and the free breakfast was delicious, Great location across the parking lot from an amazing Italian restaurant (Italiani's) Our stay was perfect and we will be back!

Great stay!! Clean and well maintained lobby and rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast was standard fare, but the staff took pride in the service and it showed in the preparation. Water pressure was excellent and often overlooked.

excellent mid-range hotel I don't think I've given 5 stars to a mid-range type of hotel before, but they deserve it. I haven't been to an HI in years, after a horrible experience in one some 25 years ago, but the reviews for this place were on the whole much better than others near the conference center, so I thought I'd take a gamble. Starting with checkin, the guy at front desk -Cameron?- was great. He honored my request to be on the top floor away from the highway and this led to a super quiet night. Furniture and carpet were in excellent condition, no wear or stains, etc., and room smelled and looked completely fresh and clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Very rare and welcome choice of firm or soft pillows on bed, even had embroidered cases indicating firm or soft. Nice! Sheets crisp and clean, not a single stray hair or lint. Shower handle was a bit tricky to operate, probably why it had a huge label on it indicating how to use it, but plenty of hot water, good water pressure. Towels were all fluffy white fresh smelling- seemed new. Only tiny issue was TV remote didn't seem to be working well, and although hbo was listed on channel menu, it wasn't available. Plenty of other choices though. Breakfast was standard fare for this type of hotel. Hot choices were scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, the ubiquitous mystery gravy and DIY pancakes. Standard cheap yogurt and dry cereals. But the hot stuff was hot and cold stuff cold and all seemed relatively fresh. There was plenty of parking and the price was right, but could be this is slow season. The highlight of the stay was a GREAT Italian restaurant right next door. Total surprise.

MY NEW HOME AWAY FROM HOME I am a flight attendant based in Dallas and living in New Orleans. This Holiday season I found myself in the position of having to spend three weeks in base at my own expense, and I hotel hopped all around Dallas using points. This hotel is BY FAR my favorite one (and i think I have stayed at every hotel in DFW lol). The people at the desk are so kind and professional, and really made me feel like a valued guest. My room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The common areas were well maintained, and the Christmas decorations were gorgeous. It is obvious that someone there takes pride in this property. The breakfast was typical for a hotel, and the breakfast gal was there to help with anything I needed. I LOVE the decor of the hotel, it made me think of a grand old school hotel from a big city, with lots of wood and retro rugs and lighting. Location-wise, there is a fabulous Italian restauran right out front, and several others in walking distance. Also 15 minutes walk to Walmart. If this hotel had an airport shuttle (ATTN MGMT!!!) I would never stay anywhere else. Thanks Haley and the rest of the gang (sorry I forgot the other names) for an amazing stay, and hope to see you soon!

Clean, safe, good breakfast We stayed three nights and had a great experience. Everyone slept well and ate their fill at breakfast. The cinnamon rolls each morning were a hit with the kids. Located close to Walmart and an Aldi. This is one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in at this price point.
