A Great Place to Stay We visited this Hotel for 4 days this month, June 2024. It’s a well located, very clean, modern light bright and pleasant place to stay. It’s right at the top of Hyannis where everything is. We found the staff that be very pleasant and helpful, especially John, who is an ambassador for the hotel, so helpful and pleasant. The rooms are spacious, light and well equipped, although not all rooms have bath tubs. They have both an indoor and outdoor swimming pools, but these do not operate all the time. Plenty of space including a bar and outdoor seating area and also a couple of nice restaurants. We only had breakfast here, but the food was great along with the service. We would definitely come back and recomment to all. Thank you Doubletree by Hilton.

Pricey - Needs some TLC - Great Staff - Good locations to Main Street - Safe The hotel staff is wonderful. Parking is ample and I felt safe around the area and property. Had dinner twice at the hotel and it was very good and I ask many questions about quality of food and how it's prepared. The location is within walking distance to Main Street where the restaurants, bars, shopping, historical area and a pier very convenient and super easy. The outside pool area was clean and peaceful. I did not go to the inside pool or the work out facilities. The outside seating and fire pit was lovely and again peaceful and there was plenty of room to spread out; in fact we had our dinner out there versus inside I highly recommend doing that. What wasn't the best, after booking for 5 nights with a group rate I was inquiring if they'd be able to swing another one night at that rate, mind you it's $360/night with taxes so it's not cheap. They would not; even though there were some rooms still available so they basically lost that room night revenue because as we know you can't sell it once the nights gone by. Next, my business partner came later in the stay and when she arrived, they gave her a room key without asking for identification and at that point my key didn't work, and I went to the desk to get it fixed and they ID me after being there for 3 days. That was pretty disappointing, and I was sure to let them know about the no ID from my business partner. The property does have some musty smells the carpet is old and probably should be pulled up and replaced. The walls could use some TLC. Also, when it gets really hot there is a HUGE diesel-powered generator outside one section of the guest rooms and that'll run for hours until it kicks off luckily it did kick off before sleep time, but I most certainly would not of been able to sleep with that noise - it's very loud. And also, the hotel is located across from a Regional Airport so consider some traffic above there. Bottom line - would I got back? Not sure....

Cough cough! This hotel is one that my daughter and I stay at every year. We love it for the location to the beach and the shops. Most of all, we love the relaxing, heated outdoor pool. However, we had to leave once and turned around once because of smokers! It’s very windy and the smoke just comes at you. The lifeguards don’t say anything as they sit on their phone. To be fair, there isn’t a sign that says “No smoking”. When I brought that to the attention of the front desk I was told, “it’s kind of a given that people shouldn’t smoke”. I agree but that doesn’t stop people from doing it anyway. A simple solution to stop inhaling others’ smoke or vape would be a well posted sign. Hopefully something will be done so that this isn’t a constant issue.

Disappointing Good location, wonderful folks in the breakfast area in the morning. Bed was comfortable; room spacious; parking plentiful. Lobby area and outside garden/fire pit area are nice. Hotel needs maintenance: bubbling/peeling paint, musty, unpleasant smell (probably from the carpet). Thankfully, the odor was not masked by perfumery air fresheners but those carpets need a good scrubbing (and perhaps the walls need to be wiped down.) Room lighting was Motel 6 poor and the bathroom lighting was worse. (At the front desk, I asked for an additional mirror or lighting and was told they had none available.) Awkward design placement of the water controls in the shower (high, fixed shower head can’t be turned on without blasting you with a cold shower) Wi-Fi was anemic, failed completely on Sunday morning (too many folks downloading their Sunday newspapers). Hotel quality and our stay were NOT anywhere near any Doubletree I have stayed in before. (This Hilton wasn’t as bad as the Hilton at the Chicago O’Hare Airport – but I will never stay at either of these Hiltons again.)
