Customer service I was given a hotel voucher from the airline because of a cancelled flight so my expectations were not high. I can't speak to all of the accommodations because I was only there for 6 hours. What was a miserable day due to airline troubles was pleasantly changed by the friendliness and professionalism of the front desk help.

I do not recommend Hawthorn! Had a flight canceled and was sent to Hawthorn by American Airlines. Arrived about 2:30 am by taxi. The room was comfortable but closet and kitchen cabinet doors were broken. Furniture was old and worn, bathtub was rusty and bathroom sink was falling and wouldn’t drain because if the angle. They would NOT let us have breakfast unless we paid $12 a person since we were on American Airlines pay. They made money in an empty room so that does not make sense! Do not stay here!

Good hotel It was a trip for a wedding. Having the shuttle pick me up was pure gold. I did not hear the planes so location was fantastic. And it's right by Irving Town Center, u have Target and all the restaurants. It's a clean, no frills hotel. Those in the reception can be try to be less rigid. And change the smell of the hotel to something fresher.

Beware the 2 person room limit We arrived after midnight from the airport before our journey north the next day. Before arriving, I booked a room with a queen bed suite with a couch bed. There were three of us. Upon arrival, we were told the hotel has a strict two-person limit per room. We were forced to book a second room for our son. This did not seem necessary, but I can imagine that is the policy. Even so, it was not made clear to me before the initial booking. For comparison, we stayed in a very similar suite (another hotel chain) later in the week, and we encountered no problems having three people in it. A queen bed and a couch bed can actually sleep four persons potentially. Aside from this, the stay was mostly very nice. Rooms were clean and good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only two towel sets (see above) in the bathroom. The hotel is located next to a strip mall with a dance club, and that produced a lot of noise until 2:00 or 3:00 am. Breakfast is basic continental style: breads, cereal, juice, yogurt.

GREAT HOTEL I've stayed at this hotel other times when I'm in the area. And he's great. Great room, everything is clean and works. The beds are great and the shower is great too. The breakfast is good The area is quiet and silent, close to the airport. I will be staying again next week and in February the reservation is already made.
