You get what you pay for I've stayed here before because it has a 24 hour shuttle, and I usually have super early flights out of DFW. If I arrive late and leave early, it works. This time we had more time, so I got a different experience. The TV in our room didn't work, and we were told that a lot of them don't work. Oh well, maybe they could move us to another room. The breakfast was subpar. A long line would develop for coffee before anyone would get out a new carafe. If you want anything that is pure carbs, you can have a hard boiled egg. That's it. It is not a hot breakfast like other LaQuintas.

The terrible La Quinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham DFW Airport South/Irving I do not rate this hotel high due to the amount of work I had to put in to keep our room maintained. I had to retrieve my own towels and trash bags from the front desk. I also had to take my own trash out each day. I had to make the bed. No one from housekeeping ever visited my room. The air conditioner DID NOT work well at all. We had it set at the lowest temperature and it was so hot in our room that I couldn't sleep. The pool area was nasty and filthy with cigarette butts and trash. The breakfast was hit and miss. One day they were out of coffee and the next day the juice machine didn't work. Don't expect meat for breakfast, either. The consolation is that there is a Denny's next door for breakfast. It was amazing! I would also highly recommend The Aspen Grill, a nearby restaurant.

Be aware. The hotel ratings are a lie. The most nastiest hotel I ever been in. Roaches on the walls and behind refrigerator. Floors nasty, towels had hair on them, air condition would not change temperatures or even turn off. I had to move in three different rooms. Manager lied about fixing the issue with points of ONLY 2500. Me and my child had to endure sleeping with roaches all night for 2500 points that doesn’t cover a full night of stay. Then people said it was nasty with roaches but still gave the hotel 5 stars lol. The nastiness of it all !!!

Good We had a nice stay here. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool and hot tub were nice. The jets on the hot tub were not working.
